  4. I know, and I wouldn't care if we scored a goal like that either. I'm just giving you a taste of the crap we got from some of your members earlier in the season.

When we got a pt at old trafford, none of you said we deserved it and very few mentioned good defending, it was all just about the false penalty and how lucky we were to be in that position.

But I must admit you defended very well and deserved to get something from the game.

Ji was onside firstly, and when you think we were minus Titus, Bardo, Westwood then Brown it is an amazing result. And i have critisised Catts in the past but he was great today. Now win at Wigan and our season takes off!.

Big big performance from a makeshift defence. I thought Kilgallon and Colback were fantastic. Colback and Mcclean kept JOhnshon and later Micah quiet and, on the few occasions we got forward, were good on the attack as well.

Catts was very good, looks like mon is going to get the best out of him.

A brilliant backs to the wall dispay today, but with the wealth of talent Mancini has at his disposal you have to give our lads the utmost respect for their never say die spirit. Everyone earned a 5 star rating today, but special mention must be made of Cattermole, who in my opinion had his finest game in a Sunderland shirt.
When i saw that Kevin Friend was the referee i feared the worst for Catts, but give his due he was outstanding.
Special mention to for young Colback, this lad just goes from strength to strength. Playing in an unaccustomed position and Adam Johnson had a relatively quiet game, all things considered.
No doubt people will say the winning goal was off-side but we were due a bit of good fortune. The bar has now been set, and we have to maintain that level of consistancy and push on, starting with Wigan away who we are well capable of beating. Onwards and upwards.<cheers>
