Fair enough Like I said, i don't know anything about him beyond the fact that he is joint second top scorer in the league this year. I still think we could do with two strikers. One who is an experienced goal scorer in this league with potential to play PL football (hopefully Sharp), and one who offers us something a bit different, pace, goal poacher (perhaps this Japanese chap). And a winger wouldn't go amiss. Adamoah, Whittingham, Phillips, Snodgrass. I'm sure there are probably other options too.
You don't score as many goals as Jutkiewicz in a dreadful side like Coventry without being someone who can feed off scraps. He's matured a lot as a player recently and I reckon he could flourish in a good side like ours. Still, trust NA to get it right as you say.
Vaz Te has rejected a new deal at Oakwell and could go for nothing at the end of the season as his contract expires this summer. So, Barnsley might be looking to sell him. Should we be interested? I personally like him and I think he could do well for us. He is at a good age, 25, and has scored 10 goals this season and notably scored a hat-trick against leeds yesterday. Obviously he would be back-up for Lambert but I think he is what we need as a replacement for him as he´s is tall and can hold up the ball well. What do you think?
I disagree that we have players that can play off of Lambert. Lambert pulls out wide so much we need a poacher in the middle. Whenever Lambert crosses there is rarely anyone in the boc because Guly isn't a centre forward. Granted Guly scores headers but that is usually when he is unmarked and doesn't need to make space.
I've seen him play before and he's one of those players who thinks he's a lot better than he actually is. If we are aiming for the premier league then he isn't good enough.
Lambert only pulls out wide because he gets no support from the wings or Guly. Tbh Lambert should always stay in the box. That's why we need new signings in both positions.

It's YouTube anyone can be made to look a good or amazing on it. It's only their best clips put together, not their whole career to date. Alfonso Alves looked amazing on YouTube and ended up ****e, the same with alot of players. So i'm not getting my hopes up.
Just a thought - what player would come here thinking he would be only a back up - that would potentially mean they were not improving the team and were a poor choice - also who would come knowing they may only get the odd appearence here and there. Also, Vaz Te is maybe not for a side who's ambition is promotion.
Think Jutkiewicz could quite happily play alongside Lambert. Guly still has 10 goals this season and he is not a striker, has no pace and rarely utilises his physical presence. I would not be disappointed if we did sign him. We talk about our plan B and sometimes we do have to knock it long if teams press us high up the pitch like Bristol City did and if like city you get a hand from the ref and are allowed to be overly physical against Lambert it stops that root of attack. Guly has no pace?? Are we talking about the same Guly.........There is no one in the side that can beat him......I would not like to have to make a living on the difference between him and De Ridder!

No they can't. If no footage exists of a player doing something good, then there isn't going to be a youtube highlight video for them. Yes, it misses out the bad parts, but you have to have done some good stuff and have some ability in order for the video to exist.
