i was doing quite well though till i played chelsea. that doesn't really make sense. surely that would impact the start of the season not halfway through.
That or you just struck lucky form at the start. Seriously, way too many players is never a good idea.
Don't really agree about signing too many players aslong as they are of the required quality, I signed about 10 players i think in my first season and still went up, but all of them were good enough to be in my squad for a couple of years in the Prem. Your signings are all pretty average and only Murphy I would think could play in the Prem regularly, and that is probably when he is 23/24 so not for a few years. If you decide to start again have a look at: Jali 500k Drahun 1.3 mil Plamen Iliev 300k Bressan 500k J Rod 4-5 miil if you wait til the start of August Bakenga free in Jan Quintero 2.5 mil Jonas Svensson 1 mil Lucas Andersen 500k - 1 mil Bandalovski 30k Guillermo Burdisso 3 mil in Jan Hagen 500k All of them will join you first season, and all are good enough to play in the Prem.
Of that list I signed three. Jali I could never get anything out of and sold him on quite soon, for a profit but still. Iliev was a good starter for me until I found a really good newgen that I replaced him with, would definitely be a good signing. Jay Rod has been a great servant to me, doesn't play often but always plays very well when he does.
The last 2, in 2016 now and getting bids of around 15-20 mil for Burdisso, Hagen just a sold mid table Prem CB. Jali was awesome for me, ended up selling him for 10 mil to Napoli and he now plays for AC Milan.
CB, just get Tomkins. I paid £3.2m for him, he's played 30+ games every season, always averaging over 7 (normally around 7.2 at that)

Help! I bid for a player who is available straight away coz he is 16 so I can Approach To Sign. I did this and negotiated and just pushed it too far and he backed out! That was 3/4 months ago now and he still isn't interested in negotiating! I really want him coz he is potential. 5 star! Any help!

Not sure. 16 year old in Blackpool youth team. Could've got him for £1.4m compensation. Coz talks broke down and 4 months later it's now £3m! Have praised him and everything, I get the 'Ill pay more attention when an official bid is made'! Ahhh!
Only got yourself to blame really. Normally want to leave it 6 months to a year but you'll have to come to terms with the fact you'll have to overspend!
