    I wish it were true but you have to ask yourselves....

    1. Does Blackburn want to sell to a relegation rival? No.
    2. Does samba want to join a relegation rival? Not if he can help it.
    3. Are we the only club looking for a top class defender? No.
    4. Can a top club trump our bid? Absolutely.

    Mission impossible. Loved to be proved wrong.

    ok,Bassong might be better than we have,but my spuds pal says he can look very shaky at times and is not a 'leader'. We need someone to lead the line,because at the moment we look completely lost at the back...lets see

    I can't see us getting samba, he's too good and at 8 million he'd be a perfect buy for any of the clubs in the top 6.

    But if we did get him, wow, what a coup that would be.

    It wouldn't be the first time that a board with the creditors breathing down their necks, sells one of the crown jewels without consulting the manager. And what an excuse for Kean. He beats ManU, loses Samba and has a excuse for losing for the rest of the season...

    Yeah, I think NW may have a real go for him but whether the player wants to come may depend who else we're bringing in during Jan
