Out celebrating New Year's. I didn't go to the game because I'm a **** fan, so I can't really comment. You could see this thread coming from a mile off though, no matter how he played.
No you couldn't, he had to play **** for everyone to say he was ****. Just like Tony Warner. As you say, you're a **** fan and are not in a position to comment, yet you seem to have done so anyway.
I'm perfectly comfortable with **** performances being rewarded with **** reviews. It annoys me when decent players get elected as scapegoats for no reason at all (McLean, Gulacsi, FFS even Hobbs at one point!) but McShane, after yesterday, certainly doesn't fall into that category.
Totally agree OLM!!! McShane was woeful yesterday. I think the style we try and play just totally highlighted the fact that he is not cut out for football at this level. His passing was terrible. The amount of times he misplaces passes is ridiculous. He dives into tackles and just doesn't have a football brain! And what really takes the piss is, am i right in saying that McShane would have been the highest paid player on the pitch??
McShane probably was the highest paid on the pitch. He is possessed and needs a bloody Exorcist, hopefully now at some other club.
Personally, I'd have liked to have seen Evans drop to right back and Cairney played in the middle, I think it's too soon for East.
You'd hope not, but with Bradley apparently on his way to Aldershot on loan and Cooper still contracted to Huddersfield for now, there's no-one else.
He'll possibly be tasked with covering any indecision from his team mates, like Hobbs' one that cost us a goal last game.
If Basso had been in goal, Hobbs wouldn't have had any decision to make(fortunately, he will be today). And Hobbs only had one moment of indecision, McShane had one every time the ball was anywhere near him.
and if my aunty had bollocks... he wasn't in goal, Hobbs had a decision to make and chose the wrong one. I find the witch hunt very sad and selective.
