Now Gerrard is BACK!

Happy New Year fellow Liverpool fans & Berb!

Ok been having a little think about what’s the best way to play now Gerrard is back, and I think I would move Gerrard back onto the right. He had a fantastic season for us a few years ago playing from there-and if we want to get the best from Carroll then I think this is the way to go. I was really encouraged by Carroll in the 2nd half of the Newcastle game, and talking to a Geordie fan yesterday his feelings are on the same line

There are a lot of options really.

- Kelly is cover for LB, Carra and Coates for CB and Robinson LB (Might need abother LB and CB soon).
- Spearing is great cover for Lucas.
- Adam is cover for Gerrard.
- Kuyt and Henderson can flip round, maybe even Downing.
- Bellamy and Maxi can swap when Bellers is not fit. Maybe even Downing who at least gives us options.
- We need competition up front for Suarez and Carroll imo. We are a player or maybe two short there.

I think we need a striker in January and a right winger and maybe left in the summer.

 

Not too many thoughts yet on my 2nd beer it's going down like crude oil, will look later.

 

Nice! I'm supposed to be working on valuing a building atm but I just havent got into it yet!

 

I haven't figured out if Hendo plays better on the right or in the centre. I think while Lucas is out we need him in the centre next to Spearing, also if he plays more of a free role it allows him to get into positions like he did for the goal and to support the guys out wide and whip in crosses anyway.

 

Hendo is better in the centre, but as you can see from my layout ive put him as part of a system of 3 in the middle. I think being direct is good for us.
