    Cole is younger, has a better scoring record in recent years and offers a similar physical option up front.

    I wouldn't just take Carlton Cole, I'd pay anything up to £5m for him! I'd still take Heskey for free on a one-year contract but purely so we could send Ranger out on loan.

    As tempting as death sounds, I'd miss this place too much if I chose it. <ok>

    I must be the only one who wouldn't mind seeing Carlton Cole here. Doesn't look like he cares too much at West Ham, but I've seen glimpses of his power and will at times. Put some good supporters behind him and he'd run himself into the ground for his team. As I said, perhaps it's just me?
