I don't think any other club of the size of Leeds United would have tolerated the results of the past twelve months by leaving a manager in his job after such a deplorable series of results. I think it speaks volumes for the ambition of the club and bates in particular, that Grayson is still in a job. It makes me wonder how bad things will have to get before we see any real change. Does it need to be relegation perhaps or has bates any balls to admit Grayson is the wrong man at the present time, raise proper funding for a new manager with a track record of proper signings and promotion through playoffs. Wait another six months bates and you mightn't have a whole lot left except an empty restored east stand
I think he is trying to politely say you keep starting new threads with the same theme. Most of what you have said in each of the new threads could have been said in one, it does look a little same o' same o'
I started a new thread trying to be constructive and asking for suggestions on how SG could realistically attempt to turn things around despite the constraints. All that got was more samey complaining and more stuff that we all already know. I know people have to vent a bit, but you've got to move on and look forwards to the future. Step one of that process has just been taken with Andros Townsend now signed on loan. Let's hope for some more positive steps from the club management now.
Probably an age thing. I suspect I'm a lot longer in the tooth than you so have probably witnessed a lot more false dawns. I'm sure we have same objective of where we want to see Leeds. On another note Andros Townsend hardly any connection to one of Ireland's great, Andy Townsend. We could bring him to the Euros
