Lead not leak. And if you think we are going to spend £5million this January you are gravely mistaken my friend. One maybe two max permanent signings, and some loans to help a very light squad.
the whole point is this club can't yet attract a player with a genuine value of £5million. Hell we couldnt do that in the Prem , the clubs £5million got a useless cabbage with lots of one legged swagger
If think a new striker or two are vitally important for us. If NB thinks he can get them on loan or cheap then fine, and spend whatever other money there may be on other positions. But if we can only get someone with the same drawbacks as McLean and Fryatt on loan then we should consider spending more on one. We're not going to get any higher than we are now by dominating games and not scoring. We need someone who isn't **** scared of the opposition's area.
Yes, several of us have raised this issue before. Seems to me if we spend £5m we get a £3m player with an ego and baggage. Why not get a £3m striker (Good enough at this level) with no ego or baggage, or a top quality loan (pay a fee if necessary) who will stay on if we go up. Man U youngster (a la Fraiser Campbell - But with loyalty).
