Once again fustrating how we can't convert our chances. Striker needed to complement by and large a good defence and midfield. Happy New Year everyone, hopefully we'll be back to winning ways against Derby.

To be fair we have had a good laugh at seeing the arrogant Leicester WUMs crash land back to reality and the icing on the cake has been the impotent dud manager we were able to palm off on them.
As their moderator Proud Fox is trying to get a bit of pride back for them by trying to wind us up, but whichever way he looks at it he knows we weren't the ones claiming we would walk the league.

I never claimed we would walk the league. I thought we would be doing alot better then what we was

Which ever way you look at it Sven has left us in a complete mess and Nigel now has to sort it and he will no doubt

The first mistake Pearson made when asked what bid it would take to prize away our star players was apparently really big figures, I would imagine he will be told if he wants them that's what he will pay, so his 9m wont go far , obviously if that statement was true

I think today simply highlighted what we've all known for some time could ultimately cost us promotion/play-offs - we're not clinical enough in front of goal and lack strength in depth, (see McShane for Rosenior). Yet again we looked the better team but came away with nothing. 2 or 3 smart signings in January should hopefully rectify this.

And why is that despite losing 6 in a row against Burnley they never actually seem to be a better team than us? It's always due to either crap refs, or defensive lapses and moments of madness on our part.

I don't think he is wumming. I think he genuinely feels a Tiger at heart. He's just a misguided soul who crossed to the dark side and now wants to come back. We should welcome him like a sinner who has seen the light.

    Welcome back Proud Tiger ................Hallelajuh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I remember all the Lesta fans complaining about Sven's spending spree in the Summer. Never stopped complaining they did!

Jon Stead scored 6 goals in his first 3 months for Blackburn, I guess he's a proven PL striker that the Europa League chasing sides should all be chasing? Which part of him scoring tons of goals at L1 level is relevent to him being a proven goal scorer at this level though?

If he was a proven goalscorer at this level he wouldn't have been back in L1 and available for less than £1.5M at 27, as soon as P'boro got relegated he'd have been moving for far more than that.

Just seen the Burnley goal on Sky. Terrible communication. Chester also at fault. He lets the ball bounce, cardinal sin for a defender, Hobbs back off. Gulasci should have come and doesnt, Hobbs then heads it and Gulasci palms it upwards and takes Hobbs out. Paterson taps in.

The transfer fees arent the problem, its the stupid wages we have given players. David Nugent is on about 30K, luckily for us he has worked out but people like SSL who are on 20K havent and now we are going to struggle to get rid of them. Quite alot of players are in talks with the club about having their contracts cancelled and the 2 loans we have are going to be terminated. As of tonight Martyn Waghorns loan officially expires and he returns to us and we can use him now, i have a suspicion he has been fit for a few weeks and Nigel has played on it so you dont ask for him to return to Hull

Yes, we had this problem when we came down. Trouble was, to get Premiership players to come to Hull City we had to offer "extra" attractive deals, then, when they turned out to be ****e, we had to keep paying them because no one else would and they just wanted the money. A certain Mr Bullard for example. Your old club, Leicester, have the same problem. Hence sending out ambassadors (and Salesmen) to unload the dross (Like SSL).

However, we are "once bitten" so we only want young, keen, up and coming players (in the main). I know you've switched your allegience to Hull City, but if you do still speak to anyone at Leicester why not suggest they try desparate clubs like Leeds or backward, third world countries like Scotland

I know you like to back your favourites with complete disregard for the facts, but you should bear in mind that people will be able to see the highlights and they'll know that you're talking ****e.

Gulasci could have easily collected the ball, but he just stood there watching, he didn't call, Hobbs didn't have a ****ing clue what his keeper was doing. Gulasci was completely at fault, Hobbs certainly shouldn't have tried to knock it back to him when he'd got so close, but Gulasci's a poor keeper, I decided he was **** at Leeds and absolutely nothing since has changed my mind.

I'm very relieved that he's shortly to be replaced as our No.1.

Disagree. Chester let the ball bounce, hobbs let it go over his head. Basic rule of defending never let it bounce in front of you and never let it go over your head. after that it was panic stations. and Gulasci played his part.

they where both at fault for the goal, gulasci should have come and dealt with it much earlier then he did, so he was at fault 1st..but when hobbs realised hed have to take charge, heading it over gulasci was rubbish, ..
as has been said tho, problems at the other end too, our lack of killer instinct in front of goal is worrying, koren had so much space in the 1st half , unfortunatley the others didnt allow him to take advantage, why doesnt stewart burst forward in behind and just stand still out on the touchline instead?, fryatt and ,mclean never anticipate either, they all just run alongside koren or get in his way.. i think we need a striker to make use of the system to work with koren, dont wana go back to 4-4-2 as wel probably see him pushed wide again.

It was right in front of us and almost in unison you could hear the entire City crowd say 'what's he doing, he's got to come, why isn't he coming, what the ****'s he doing....oh ****'.

It was mainly Gulacsi's fault for not making the call or taking charge of the situation leaving Hobbs with a dilemma. However when Hobbs decided to head it, he should really have played safe and put it out for a corner - regardless of the situation he found himself in, it was a **** header back.
