It is but if it's recent like this Japanese guy it'll only be on the last couple of pages. Don't worry about it, I'm sure we'll have another thread on him by the end of the day!

Championship leaders Southampton are reportedly close to signing Japan international Tadanari Lee in January.

According to reports in the Far East, representatives of Tadanari and the Championship side are currently in advanced talks over a possible move.

If discussions are successful, the deal is expected to be announced next week and the 26-year-old will immediately link up with his new team-mates at St Mary's.

Born to ethnic Korean residents in Japan, Tadanari has become a regular at international level after strong displays for Sanfrecce Hiroshima over the past two seasons.

And there should be few complications with a work-permit application for Tadanri, as he is a regular with Japan who are ranked 19th in FIFA's rankings.

Several French clubs are also believed to be keeping tabs on the forward if the rumoured switch to Southampton falls through.

Worth a punt but i wouldn't want him to be our only striker purchase as i believe we need someone to hit the ground running and it would be a massive risk to rely on him settling in,weather etc etc, would much prefer if we got an experienced player who has played in England for a while. If Adkins did buy him though i'd back him.

Some great goals, but they don't seem to know how to defend in Japan! And is his name Tadanari Lee or Lee Chung Sung, or are they 2 different people? I'm confused! Good celebrations though...

The celebrations are fantastic! <laugh> He also seems to have good reactions in the box and knows how to make space.

No point in looking on Youtube, on there De Ridder can cross and Guly can control the ball like Messi.

Lee Chung-Sung is the Korean version of his name but you'll see even that spelt different ways, Lee Chung-seong etc. Problem is, their languages don't use the Latin alphabet so their names can be spelt a variety of different ways. See Jong Tae-se/Chong Tese.

I think this may be his Korean name as he is ethnically Korean (Parents are Korean) but a Japanese national.

I'm thinking this is the 5th thread about the same guy in one day. Check the rumour thread first, no excuses about it being a "big thread", the last few pages have been pretty much exclusively about him.
