    I'd say you could more or less take that to the bank - proper pain in the neck that horse - always wins when you have given up on him.

    Another one like that is Celsitial Halo and I have him backed in the last at Newbury today.

    Oddy your fans cracked me up on Boxing Day. I went to our game away at Huddersfield and on Praise Or Grumble we had a plethora of Wednesday fans saying how unacceptable their performance was at Walsall, yet every one of them said the same line - "we left with 2 minutes to go, when we were 1-0 so we could miss the traffic"

    The rest is history, as they say.


    Well we are terrible again today, right back is injured so we are playing a winger at right back. Joy..

    Still needs to really fine tune his jumping if he is to be a player in the big races, but that is twice now he has stretched classy animals over fences, and Bobs Worth ran creditably behind Grands Crus. I can't see him winning at Cheltenham, but I want to see him improve again.

    disappointing race, if any of them had jumped 100% they would have beaten the rest!

    They must be thinking Arkle for Cue Card now. For Non Stop was catching him at the line but was ultimately outpaced at the crucial time. Agree that his jumping needs to improve. Shame Minella Class came down because he looked to be moving well. It would have been nice to see how the Peddlers Form tied in. Al Ferof not looking so strong now with FNS looking more Jewson material.

    Fair play to Cue Card today he was good <ok>

    However For Non Stop was the worst 9/4 bet I have ever seen said it to a few people yesterday. He got close to a idling Al Ferof. His form before that is ok hurdle form but around the 140 mark simply a horrible price today. Would have been interesting if Minella Class stayed up he was about to serve it up to Cue Card

    Could easily have pressurised Cue Card into jumping errors too.
