What a shambles that show is, on too late for someone of my age, camera`s whizzing all over the place, up on the balcony, through a window. Then there`s Manish, he seems to like us and mentions us a lot, that funny bloke Steve Claridge or whatever his name is…..the one with the pointed witches peak hair, and whatever happened to the blonde lady, who read the mail…..she had funny hair too. Well I don`t know if it has already been mentioned but it is likely to be scrapped next year (2012). It was said that they pay the Match Of The Day pundits so much that they have to make cuts somewhere. Oh how I wish we were a Premiership club….like Swansea perhaps! For me I always fast forward the pundits section, can`t look at Mark Lawrence`s hair without looking for the join! A lot of hot Hair! Actually, I`m going to miss the show!
Have to agree, the show is crap because the presenters are crap, and talk a load of bollox. It's a shame, it needs a makeover, and someone who can talk about the games with real authority and make interesting (not banal) points. i really wouldn't miss it as i only want to see the City away games anyway, I'd just watch the City highlights on Player.
To save money they could just get rid of the presenters, the little fat sod who travels around the grounds looking for off beat stories and pundit (Claridge is such a depressing to$$er anyway). Why not just show the games/goals (get more game time in with no talk) with a voice over? After all most of us are just interested in the games and goals.
its a crap show, crap format, crap pundits, its on far too late, and to get the highlights i just watch bbc highlights on the website, why should i watch a 2 hour or so show for about 3 minutes on my club? i've only watched the show about 2 times and its awful, thats the first show that needs to go if there are budget cuts.. and that fat guy is so patronising and annoying, what a tit
I don't think the whole show should go. I quite enjoy seeing other clubs from all 3 divisions and, lets be honest, apart from cup games it is the only chance clubs from the lower leagues have to show something of themselves on a wider stage. The ITV version which used to be on Sunday mornings was much better with a more professional presenter (can't remember his name).
