In terms of interest in the Scottish game, who, if anyone do you follow?

For me having Irish ancestry I'm Celtic! Great result the other night.

I live up here, and the standard is poor, both Rangers and Celtic are very average sides, and would do well to hold their own in the Championship. I have stopped watching the games, as they are such a poor standard.

I like to see Cowdenbeath do well.

As for the Silly Pointless League, not in the slightest bit arsed.

Do you manage to get to many City games John?

Old firm games are always worth watching though.

I get down as often as possible usually around 6 or 7 games a season. The old firm games are only watchable on TV for me, as the atmosphere in the ground is too hostile and intimitating.

Look out for Celtic's result as one of my best friends at uni is a keen Celtic fan (he in turn looks out for our results).

i follow ayr united as i went out with a cracker who lived up the road in prestwick and she took me to a couple of games.

dad follows cowdenbeath and my uncle stenhousemuir, they have done since boys as they liked the fact they had silly names.

Absolutely no interest at all. Worked in Scotland for a bit and got sick of hearing about the "Old Firm games". Both clubs appear to have massive numbers of bigoted supporters, which perpetuates the intolerance religion brings to most communities.

So no thanks, and keep em well away please.

Hearts. Because my friend supported the Lithuanian club they stole their team from, so to rub it in I followed their results. Been to a few games when I've been in the area.

Celtic for me - Rangers are far to over rated, they are an average boring side who play the long ball - Mc Coist has no tactics what so ever

Favoured Celtic as a kid only because I liked the kit. Then i went up there for a few football tournaments when i was 14 and 15 and stayed with a Rangers supporting family. Learned all about the rivalry and the hatred. Anyone who sings songs about killing British soldiers can fuk off. I know some of the Rangers lot arent angels either but the Celtic dont even consider they are British, its an outpost of Ireland.
Small minded bigots the lot of them.

Anyone but the Old Firm, but I'd tend to favour Rangers over Celtic. First game I went to up here was Dunfermline vs Celtic, 0-0, and the response of the Celtic fans after the game was to launch large stones over the wall into the Dunfermline fans trying to leave the ground. (If you think about exiting Boothferry Park at the North end of Kempton how much of a bottleneck that was, and they were doing it into a family stand crowd).

Then there was the pisstake in a post match interview about the artificial pitch at Dunfermline. Apparently it was unsuitable because the players kept falling over, what they failed to mention was it was only Celtic players when they were in and around the edge of the area from places Alan "oh sorry my elbow hit your face again" Thomson could shoot from that were falling over, and that they were looking at the referee as they "fell" appealing for freekicks which the ref told them to shut up and get up from. And the accusations that Dunfermline intentionally let Rangers hammer them the season before so that Celtic wouldn't win the league, because whenever Rangers win anything it's just part of a big conspiracy by everyone else in the world designed to keep Celtic down.

couldnt care much for either of them , if anything i take a very slight glance at how Aberdeens doing .

If i had to pick an old Firm team , i'd probably gravitate towards the team that is at least pro British as thats the only real difference between the two meaningless teams

I wish Islay had a footy team - fantastic whisky, and a very chilled-out island! That's the only thing that would get me interested in the Scottish League.
