    Unbelievable result at St. Marys this evening ! Did David James play a blinder one wonders ?

    Their next match is away to their "deadly rivals" Brighton - could be a cracker :1980_boogie_down:

    For someone that attended the game both sides were pretty even.

    Kelvin Davis kept us in it most of the time, when the referee was giving BC as many chances as possible.

    After a few minutes you could see BC would be happy with a point. DJ should have been booked earlier but only got booked in the last minute.

    Pretty even game but BC took their chance which the player really couldn't miss.

    Disappointing from Saints, but onwards an upwards and all that <ok>

    The finishing touch just wasn't there today, but like I say onwards and upwards and still top of the league for new year (providing West Ham don't win 6-0!)

    Hi guys, thought James enjoyed the grief to be honest. Made some decent saves but bizarrely could have been sent off. He got booked for time wasting and earlier in the game it looked like he carried the ball out of his box on the slippery turf. He then threw it back into his area and pandemonium erupted; very strange moment!

    Oh and by the way we are Saints and you are Pompey, nothing more nothing less :).

    Happy New Year Pompey peeps. Yes strange game last night but it was going to happen. Despite being top we have proven to be inconsistent and erratic at times this season.
