Tiote?

Guys be realistic.... How much does Tiote have to shoulder? Do you realise that its Tiote who's literally the only one winning us the balls most of the time? I can't believe how you guys can say that he's been appalling... Which player had a flawless game? Almost every player had his fair share of bad passes or bad decision making and Tiote, our entire midfield engine room is being criticised when we were totally outplayed? Come on!

we've heard more from tiote in the last fortnight than we ever have previously media wise and all he is saying is how much he loves the club, city, fans and wants to stay. doesnt come across as his head has been turned

he's always taken a bit longer to get back to full fitness than a regular player, but that's just because his standards and fitness levels are so high to start with. takes time to get back to 90 mins of all action

Tiote was poor yesterday, he gave the ball away far too many times, I cetainly don't want to sell him, but I'm not going to continually make allowances for him because it's Tiote.
I hope he finds his form again, it may be more down to lack of concentration, definitely that on more than one occasion yesterday, rather than his lack of fitness.

 

Hang on a minute. I thought Tiote was God ? How can any of you contemplate selling God ?
Wigan or Bolton or someone of that ilk may come in with a £6m offer, as that's his level now according to some of you lot.

 

He looks to be the shadow of the man he was last season. I still think he's an important player for us though and wouldn't want to see him sold.

 

Fantastic work. Your own team have been consistent in letting you down from the word go this season. Until you are even within shouting distance of us please keep your whimsical wumming to yourself as we are all just thanking God that the positions aren't reversed. Seriously.

 

Him and Cabaye might aswell not been on the pitch first half with our hoofball. Surely Krul is not being encouraged to keep doing it? We showed 2nd half until Gerrard came on we are best when we pass the ball. Ba came alive. Frustrating the hell out of me at present. I think the central two is our strongest area, but we need to start using them. They've both been poo but its because they can't get any rhythm to their play.

 

This. We outplayed them when we played keep ball and looked very dangerous. Hoof ball will never work against quality and as we saw, Liverpool are decent enough nut have quality when Mr Liverpool shows up. We need a Gerrard

 

Tiote has not played well for a few games now. Could be he's still not 100% fit or is thinking of pastures new.

 

Feel a bit sorry for him and Cabaye. Every time they got the ball yesterday they had the non existent option of sending it up to Benny / Vuckic and Ba who were completely marked out of the game, or the non existent option of giving it to our wingers who were complete dross, would lose the ball, and Tiote and Cabaye would have to charge back and defend. All they could do were short passes backwards.

 

I think you and a lot of people have shockingly fickle short minds and refusing to accept the fact he clearly hasn't been fit for the past 3 games is stupid.

Tiote is the best central midfield battering ram we could ever hope to have in the black and white. Who are we going to replace him with?

Could be thinking that he isn't wanted and the Fat Man wants to sell him to get a few more pound to feed his bad habit.

He was one of the better players last night! honestly it's neither wonder we ever get anywhere because our fans are so ****ing disgusting towards players. The fact is we were playing a better side and 3-1 is no disgrace. i'm all for lookmg at who to replace our weakest links, however anyone getting at Cabaye and Tiote last night is a ****ing whelp.

It was players that just went missing that you should be looking at ffs.

Looking at their team apart from Gerard I wouldn't say they are much better if at all

 

Last night for me he was one of the worst players on the pitch, Obertan has the honour of being the worst though.

Tiote just seems intent on constantly dithering with the ball and losing possession and putting the defence under massive pressure (3rd goal)

He wins very little 50/50's against even the most average of players this season, doesn't have an attacking bone in his body, and his passing is all over the place, and we know when hes playing well his passing range is normally nothing special but he can still at least switch the play and get some flow to the game.

He isn't doing the simplest of things that made him the player he was last season, I think managers are wise to how he plays now and how he distributes the ball.

 

Disagree we never looked like scoring and we were merely playing keep ball ion possesion. Liverpool are a better side than there league position suggests and we are not as good as it suggested. We will be doing very well to finish top half come May. I base this on losing Tiote and Ba and the fact Gutherie is always injured.

Overall they are better IMO.

 

Honest your all just wingy ****er and want to blame someone well if you want to blame anyone blame the fact we haven't got enough to compete with the top six. either blame that fact or enjoy the fact we can compete for top 10.
