Well fellow Spurs fans I have big news. First time since I left the shores of England in 1974 I am coming to visit in April. I am well excited and a big thank you to my Missus for making it happen. Now the important stuff- the only home game in April that I can go to is the easter visit of Norwich, I need some advice on when to purchase tickets and the most reasonably priced seats (my daughter wants to see the Lane as well). Importantly I might put some faces to the names on this forum finally. COYS!!
Hi PL, glad you get to see the Spurs in person again It's usually difficult to get two seats together for Prem games if you're not a member. It depends how much money you have, but the surest way to get tickets for the Norwich game is for you and your daughter to become members. Even then, if we're still in the top 4, you'll have to be on the computer bright and early, when the tickets go on sale to members. The dates are published well in advance, so you'll know which date it is to be up early for. Mind you, in Australia it might mean staying up late! Single tickets, if the game sells out, sometimes become available on ticket exchange. I think these are only available to members, but not sure on that. Doubtless other people will have advice for you, but that's the best I can give. Good luck with your trip and ticket hunting
Thanks for the info GH10 I'll have a look at membership and when the announcements come, my plan B if I can't get match tickets is maybe go on a stadium tour. Failing that I will go to the Lane, have some photos taken at the famous gates to show I was there and also go to the merch shop. Cheers
If you are feeling rich you can pay for a hospitality package which includes a ticket and a meal. http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/hospitality/matchday_hospitality.html Looks like £245 for the Norwich game
Power- no after paying for the air tickets i definitely don't feel rich Thanks chirpy- the day I found out I had just finished watching us put Norwich to the sword and it felt unreal. Yes I know it has changed, but I have a sister who lives in Worcester Park so I have an idea what to expect. But that doesn't matter, to return to old Blighty is worth the wait.
Arriving Uk 6th April- hope to see a welcome banner Thanks lads- but there is plenty of good times to be had before then. By time I arrive we should be well on the way to top 4 place.
Might be worth giving the ticket office a call they might make a special case for you since you're travelling so far, if not I'll drop you a PM when they go on sale - should be around late Feb/early March. Let me know if you fancy a pint before the game. I was meaning to sort out a little Not606 get together prematch in January if anyone fancied it but I've gone and damaged my knee ligaments so I'm on crutches for the next 2/3 weeks so no Spurs for me.
Thanks Yid- had a look at memberships bit confusing all those levels will have to contact the club i think. I'll take you up on that if my schedule permits ( don't tell the missus- i will make sure i make time)
You can only get a Bronze membership, Silver is for home ST holders and Gold for ST holder with an automatic cup ticket buying system(I think). Memberships will cost you about £20 if they sell them half price for the second half of the season like last year but you'll need one for every ticket you buy so it might be worth waiting a week and hoping there are still tickets when it goes to General Sale.
I thought that Lilywhites was for kids? I have my membership on DD so I haven't looked for awhile. Chirpy, haha that would be great but my tickets are for S.Lower so I'd have to spend all the game sat down... plus I can't drink... plus I'd have to travel over an hour eachway on crutchers... not worth it for me so the tickets have been sold.
