    NEIL WARNOCK is set to launch a £10million raid on West London rivals Chelsea and Fulham.
    The QPR boss wants to buy Blues' transfer-listed defender Alex and get midfielder Josh McEachran on loan.

    Warnock is also close to sealing a £2m deal for Fulham's Andy Johnson, offering the striker a £50,000-a-week deal.

    Blackburn defender Christopher Samba and Manchester United striker Federico Macheda are also targets.

    A top QPR source confirmed: "Neil will make bids for Alex, AJ and Samba and wants Macheda and McEachran on loan.

    "He believes if he can get three or four of those names on his wish list then we will have a great chance of staying up."

    "New sighings" just about sums it up.

    I sigh every time I see yet another name added to the list of "targets" especially when coupled with "a top QPR surce", "an insider", etc.

    Roll on February.

    Yes I know...but isn't it great to be talking about all these players instead of panicking about who we are going to LOSE in the Transfer Window. It is all a bit of fun after all just reading the rumours and being able to voice our opinions about the lemons and the ones we would love to have. If all the names come true we shouldn't drop a point for the rest of the season lol.
    So stay steady and don't be too disappointed at the end of the Rainbow.......sorry Window...

    I just hope the key positions where we really do need strengthening are filled early in the window. Some of the names mentioned are underwhelming to say the least...

    2nd time I have heard Macheda mentioned from totally different sources (one not press related) so this one may well be true. Assuming that to be the case is he what we need? And if both Macheda and Johnson are the targets what will happen about Defo Defoe?

    CB's Defoe rumour was always a load of codswallop IMO, same as his Anelka one. Macheda might be an ok signing. What we desperately need is a bit of pace up-top, part of our inability to score stems from the fact that we can't stretch teams, particularly in the last quarter of matches. Hopefully whoever comes in will offer the ability to do so.

    God....I really hope that this isn't too accurate!! Samba and Alex would be great...but I can't see it!! Macheda isn't one I'd get excited about...nor Johnson. We really, really need better defenders!! Bassong and Ridgewell would be good, plus Bertrand on loan!
