I love how you used his stats alone today to make us think he's ****ter than we assume. Now post the rest of the teams stats, after all, it's only fair if you compare it to the rest of our players today.

Newcastle were just not as good as Liverpool as a team.

I think he is good enough. He reminds me of Jonas last year, doing generally nothing but run at the opposition with no end product but coming good over time. People got on his back, back then too. Noone here seems to actually remember he's only 22 and this is his first proper chance at a full season in the Premier League, to expect him to be tearing people apart is ridiculous.

Spot on mate, since when have we gone to Anfield and won? 93-94? Even Bobby Robsons team couldn't do it. What were people expecting exactly? They are still a very good team. We are a team in transition trying to improve every season. We're bound to loose some games like this. The lads will play much better than that in the majority of games this season. Give all the slating a rest and support the team because they have been brilliant this year.

That's the thing, he's our fastest player by a long chalk yet he rarely even tries to run at the opposition. He could outpace most full-backs in the league but never gives it a go.

I honestly think in the season so far that was our worst team performance. There was basically no supply coming in to Demba (who was unlucky with the only chance he got), but the main problem was Obertan in that he just kept giving the ball away. Almost every time we got to the half way line he would do a stupid pass and we'd be back on the defensive. Our full backs (bar Santon) we're ****, but Ober pissed me off more. We need Marveux back to at least put some pressure on his place in the team, its a bloomin shame Sammy didn't play much better either as I quite like him.

I would rather play James Tiberius Perch on the wing than Ober again, he's had enough chances and should do better than he's playing

Some of you need to wake the **** up. He's been in England years, played Premiership football before, played Champions League football before, and never been any good. Been saying it since day one, he is ****ing ****e. Not good enough now, won't ever be. I'd rather play Ferguson.

Agreed. Hasn't got a clue about where he should play. Can't cross and has NO confidence in beating anyone.
