samaras really needs a brain scan urgently.
the amount of times that man falls over when nobody has touched him must be very worrying for celtic.

lets just say if jelly fell over that often, the diving panel would already be convened.

Jealousy of Samaras. If Jelavic Lafferty and McCullagh had been picked and played on Wednesday Rangers may have not looked as inept.
Never in my long history of watching Celtic did I ever see a team play sopoorly after falling behind in the 52nd minute.
Even McCollum who blew for half time as Celtic raced on to an attack with extra men forward 10 secs short of the 45 mins,
(Kayal had held up play for treatment.) Mc Collum gave them a lift with 5 minutes but they just could not get the ball.

In all fairness Jelly will be gone for £3.5m euroes.

What are '£3.5m euroes'?

Is that more or less that €3.5m pounds?

I am afraid there are always one or two who are ignorant, or just plain stupid £1 = 82 cents approx.
So £3.5m euro is less than £3.5m.

I think the problem is the use of the £ (pound sterling) symbol and not the €uro symbol.

I don't know if now is the time to bring it up or not, but it is my firm belief that the "s" in cent(s) is superfluous.

I am not going to make a big deal out of it here because the real issue here is pound/eurogate.

Lets get to the bottom of that before debating the s on the end.

The pound/eurogate is a closed case, so, feel free to discuss "s"gate.

I'm outraged at this viewpoint. <grr> On what basis could the 's' in 'cents' ever be superfluous?

* Edit - unless it's one cent. Then I agree the 's' would be superfluous. I'm still shaking with rage though.

I am sorry that I caused such confusion. I am sure those who read the original post fully understood what I was trying to say.
However rather than discuss Jelavic and his possible deal, somepeople with juvenile
minds created a side show.
However as a very clever man once said, those who matter don't mind:
Those who mind, don't matter.

Happy new Year !!

The height of cleverness is to be able to conceal it.
Francois de La Rochefoucauld

He also said this
"Small minds are much distressed by little things. Great minds see them all but are not upset by them".

I am sure we can all agree that discussing 38 cent, or 99 cent as opposed to 38 cents , or 99 cents is in no way trivial.....I don't know why I am placing so much stock in the sayings of a guy I'd never heard of until last week, but his quotes are quite witty.

.....I don't think the s is necessary <ok>.
It even slightly irritates me in the shops. So much so, I'll go to the cashier who says cent instead of cents.

On Jelavic, it looks like he is for sale. It looks like everyone knows they could get a cut price purchase.......it also looks like he's chucked it and is **** all use to man nor beast in that frame of mind anyway. The monkeys are downsizing and will continue to do so.

The point is to tease them for probably losing their best player.

He is their best player if he can be arsed. He doesn't look arsed right now. If he stays, they still have a very capable player who must try and play for his place on the Croatia bench
Does that affect his market value? I don't know. It isn't as though clubs can't hardball the Huns anyway.
If he goes, they put the shirt on the back of someone who will try for them.

I don't care if he stays or goes. McCoist ain't using him right. McCoist ain't supporting him. He's taking throw ins in the 92nd minute of games they are losing. It is like having a Ferrari (on HP) and trying to fill it with vegetable oil. It'll still look good, but the performance is gonna be ****.

In fact, if he stays at least I get to laugh at the ****ing idiots who put the names on the back of his shirt and canny spell.
