Depends which Rangers side turns up, we are well capable of winning this one but equally capable of being on the end of a tonking. Hopefully NW will give his half time team talk prior to kick off so that we actually play for the whole 90 minutes and not just the 2nd 45!!! Up the R's
There's no way Helguson can play 2 games in 2 days so I think he will be saved for Norwich ( a game we have a better chance of winning!). I also think that, if Ferdinand and Wright Phillips are close to being fit, he will save them for Norwich too. Team could be something like: Kenny Young Hall Hill Traore Barton Derry Faurlin Mackie Taarabt Bothroyd We won't get anything from the emirates imo so best to save our best team for Norwich. Oh and by the way....Traore is definitely dodgy at defending but he's very quick and excellent in the attacking third!!
If only ****tu was in the 25 he could steam through Van Persie in the first 10 seconds and both teams could shake hands and agree on an inevitable 0-0 draw.
I agree that we will get nothing from this game and have already given it up sadly as a home banker. Sure the 3,000 plus fans at the Emirates will do the team proud What matters to me is 3pts against the carrot crunchers on Monday particularly as my NCFC brothers are coming to the game and a defeat again against them doesnt even bear thinking about. Plenty of stick for Grant Holt chaps if he plays.
Looks like most R's fans have written this one off, and judging by his comments on the Offish Warnock has too - all he talks about is how good Arsenal are and how lucky we will have to be. As long as we put in a performance and aren't humiliated I guess I won't moan. Then again seems like the perfect set up for an upset....
I think HH may play against Arsenal as they are not too great at the back and he could punish them in the air. Bothroyd may be better taking on the Norwich defence which hasn't had a clean sheet yet in a 4-4-2 with Adel feeding off him. Whatever formations Adel has to start producing the magic...
As a Rangers fan I predict being on the receiving end of a substantial stuffing for the first time since Xmas Day.
From the QPR board prediction thread - 25 for a home win, 7 for a draw, 4 away win. So no pressure on us then.
Don't mind if we lose thus one. Respect to Arsenal for the football they play and for the decency of their manager. A proper club unlike that scum at Stamford Bridge.
Hoping to get a point and as the poster above says, respect Arsenal. Like to see Arsenal win things ahead of any other London clubs, especially the South West Londoners.
You know what? I've got that cheeky feeling we're gonna win tomorrow. And honestly... I'm rarely wrong. I KNEW we were gonna win when Chelsea came to town.
QPR could win, it's not as unlikely as people make it out to be. However, we are at home, so I have to say we'll win.
You never know though. We showed a bit of swagger in the second half at Swansea and we have players that can hurt them. I just don't see any combination of our centre-halves getting close to Van Persie or even the grossly overrated Walcott and Gervinho, assuming they all play. You never know who will be rested at this time of year.
