    I'm banishing the wife to another room when the match is on later. It's for her own good, she doesn't like the 'C' word (****, not Carroll....) and it's a word I often use when watching a match.

    Don't feel too comfortable with a win in this game. My prediction is 1-1 although I would take a scrappy 1-0

    Right back at you, mate. <ok> We should get some entertainment, but I'm hoping there'll be no stupid officiating to mess it up. Last thing either team needs is a harsh sending off or phantom penalty. We want football not farce, goals not gaffs. ;)

    At uni I generally watch the match in the flat (not too many of my mates like to watch us play) and therefore can say what I like...Since I've been home I've had to follow almost each sentence with "Sorry Mam"...It's hard work being a conscientious football fan!

    While I'm on here...Got to be said, this is a very friendly thread considering it's 18 pages long and Liverpool currently have 3 ex-Newcastle players, an ex-manager and that **** Comoli...I wonder what outcome could continue this love in - score draw with a dubiously given, but well saved penalties a piece?
