Just for all you cricket lovers. Spent a brill evening at the WACA watching Perth Scoarchers beat Brisbane in a 20/20 bash. Ecxeiting cricket and lots of beers. James is now a member so we were sitting in the Members Area (the only place in the ground were you can get full strength beer!). BTW it was 28c at 9.30pm - Oh and Perth won!
I'm all ho ho ho'd out mate, Finally got the house to ourselves so I'm happy again. It is indeed funny how teams only capitulate against us. Nowt to do with United of course, always the opposition not being up to it coincindently the day they play us. Been happening for nearly 20 years, bit of a coincidence but there you go. Also funny is how the goalkeepers all have great games against Liverpool, **** all to do with the ****e finishing on display!
afternoon... first day back at work today... massively dull... though am shutting the office in an hour then proceeding to paint my bedroom which will no doubt be thrilling.. trust everyone had a fun packed christmas??
Yeah, mine was great. There are times, like yesterday, when I want it to all end but on the whole a good time had by all. Weather been **** though, eh? Loads of festive drizzle. We need a centre half. I think we should either hijack the Cahill/Chelsea deal or get Alex off Chelsea when Cahill signs.
I'd be happy with cahill.. Not sure about that Alex to be fair.. Though it would I guess make more sense to sign him than someone from outside the prem.. Though I'd rather have someone like samba from Blackburn.. Well I have one more hour of work til the new year which is nice.. Did anyone else get anything particularly **** for Christmas? I had truly the worst cardigan I have ever seen from my auntie.. Was black with red piping round the seams.. An to top if off they got my nephew something nice an abercrombie and fitch hoodie.. Also had a boxset of a watch wallet and pen.. Brilliant.. Felt like throwing that in the face of my mother.. Got a Calvin Klein t shirt with a massive Calvin Klein emblazoned across the front ****ing horrific.. ****s
The Mrs got me some nice clothes, shoes etc...did pretty well. Then her best friend and her boyfriend who live next door got me a 'lil something....an RC Helicopter! ****in love the thing...but then my Mrs gets mad at me for getting excited about a 'lil something from her freind...can't win ffs.
I had one of those helicopters the other year... the novelty wore off in minutes of flying a helicopter round my lounge.. if it were a big helicopter that you could attach fireworks too an make some sort of device for setting them off that would make the whole experience more enjoyable..
Having a cat and dog gives me something to target, quite enjoy it. But you only get 10 mins of flying time before you have to charge it again which is annoying.
My presents were all good to be fair. I didn't get too much. The kids got an offensive amount though, most of which will gather dust. All I now want for Christmas is 18 dry holes!!!
