Looks like you are getting your wish as Clayton is on the bench today.

McCormack is listening to the press again. Rumours of premiership clubs sniffing around. He begins to believe the hype and loses his way. His prolific season with us included a lot of penalties and free kicks. As soon as the hype started, he got too big for his boots and his goals dried up.

Has he been at the burgers again? That was another sign when the goals dried up, his waistline expanded quickly!

well, i wouldnt have rested them both in the same game..... but im saying we need to use our squad more cleverly

And ristac, i wont rest our most creative player when we are on bad form, he shoulda been rested earlier on in the season when we were on good form, its how all good teams work, make minor adjustments so it does not reck the balance of the team but you are still keeping your better players fresh.

And ccfc, you could be right

When exactly were we on good form, when have we kept more than two consecutive clean sheets or managed to string 3 back to back wins together? This Leeds team is not capable of putting on three consecutive good form showings. I define Good form as unbeaten in a month and at least three wins and a draw looking **** hot each time the players take to the pitch. We haven't the depth to rest any of the slightly above average players and your love for Clayton is blinded by your love for Leeds.

He is a decent player, one of the better ones at the club but he isn't a superstar capable of walking into virtually any other Championship clubs starting 11. Just like Howson he puts in some good shows and then a couple of nothing specials, I don't care who gets sold or brought in this month, while we have Bates at the helm this club isn't going anywhere special.
