http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/live...support-hillsborough-familes-100252-30031817/ Once again Rafa show's what a great man he is.
It's usually best to think about what you're typing before you click send, not after. as for Rafa... This is such a good thing to do and it's not just HFSG who are receiving donations through the trust. there are other local causes which are also benefitting. Rafa is a true gent
Apology accepted...but you're still a tart Well done Rafa, his love of the area and people is undeniable.
Top manager and top man! Still cannot believe a man of his stature is still out of work, really baffles me sometimes how some people keep getting managers jobs and yet the like of Rafa seem to be ignored.
Rafa is a true gentleman, people will believe what they want. But aside from the last year, when i think the stress of tom and jerry got to him. He took the club forward and gave us one of our most memorable nights ever.
Hi All, Been lurking about for while now, but have decided to intorduce myself! Rafa should be considered one of the biggest legends that has ever graced Liverpool Football Club. Obviously there was Shanks and Kenny, but other than those 2 who's really brought so much delight AND hope to our club, the season we finished 7th was an anomoly and the only reason he was got rid of was that Hicks and Gillete wanted a yes man in charge AKA Roy Hodgson. There was no way we should have been in the CL final let alone win it, also reaching the final in '07 was a miracle. Finished 2nd the year before we came 7th and people still have a go, it's ridiculous! I for one would love to see Kenny ride out the next couple of years, get us into CL qualification and let Rafa come back and do the rest with owners that actually care about the future of our club!
What about Paisley and ***an! Paisley won 3 European cups with us, which is a record and ***an won a treble (League, European Cup and League Cup)
Welcome to the forum. I would add Paisley in there, you can't forget about him! I don't get the Rafa bashing, but don't think our current owners would have him back.
Paisley and ***an, fair enough, i should have rephrased it. Since i've been alive ( born '86) who else has done the things that Rafa did. Houllier obviously got the 5 trophies, but that still didn't get me as excited as Rafa's acheivements. I also agree that FSG probably wouldn't tocuh him with a barge pole, which is a shame, but i would still love to see what he could have done with proper backing and the resources that are available now. Not that i'm dissing Kenny, think he's doing a pretty good job considering the circumstances he inherited.
