Could the MLS be the answer?

We need a striker to cover Ba, and the MLS loan period covers the ACON almost perfectly. There is clearly quality there - Donovan and Henry are already tied up.

We can just use Benny and Best or Vuckic and Best

The Dippers also seem daft enough to splash huge amounts of cash, but they seem to prefer young english players.

The FIFA regs I think mean that we will see less and less of these sorts of deals anyway. It doesn't matter how creative your accountants are no team is going to want to pay massively over the odds for players anymore.

Nah , we need another striker in my opinion. Best isn't the striker you can rely on for goals , neither is Vuckic.

    MLS is definitely an option.

We won't though so that's our options in my opinion.

Why is it whenever I rebut one of your points you completely ignore me? Just curious.

Tiote will be at ACoN too and isn't in brilliant form right now either. Thinking about it, I can't see him leaving, doesn't make sense to any club involved.

Sorry I guess I'm just forcing my opinion too much. To be honest I'm not going to bother anymore. I always get the same **** and then end up being right a month later. Might aswel just wait till then and say I told you so. Then people will say I didn't.

Agree. Prospective buyer will enquire ... £30m they are told, plus add ons. Screw that they say ... as NUFC have shown there are players like this to be found in europe for less than £5m. Does not make sense to pay that much!

But you can't claim to be correct about everything because you aren't, you just claim that everything negative is going to happen and generalise where need be like one of the astrology columns in the papers.
Inevitably SOME of the negative things you claim will happen but not all. That doesn't make you "right", it means you called certain aspects correctly. I could just as easily say I will be "right" about us signing a centre-back...
Besides, you called Nolan, Barton and Enrique leaving? So what? We're doing fine without them.

Your missing my point because I will be right about it! I'm not saying we won't bring in CB or that we will lose and get relegated I'm just advising people of the things I've seen mapped out infront of me. The powers of electrical impulses are paramount.

Well, I take umbrage with your definition of "right" but I can't convince you so let's agree to disagree. <ok>

Also I'll try to stop being obnoxious every time I quote you.

Actually, Nolan was more of a shock I think. Didn't we crash the site because of it? <laugh> There was a new Nolan related thread every minute for about an hour <laugh>

But yeah, more or less anticipated Barton and Jose leaving when they did, but I think with Nolan a lot of us just weren't sure what would have happened to him!

We crashed the site with the contract rejection, predicted him leaving, then crashed it when he actually left <laugh>

The point was more "So what?" - not like we've missed them really is it
