My words did I feel crushed after that defeat and I stayed up until 3am thinking about the game and how well we played in the 1st half. I could not sleep and this result really is crushing. I am not at all confident we will beat Pool. Its always a massive game and they turn the heat up. But this game is like no other and our backs are to the wall. As a team when the going gets tough we fight and always win. However, I don't expect us to win and I don't expect Arsenal to beat Sunderland without RVP AND FAB AND WALCOTT. They look a different side without them and were crushed on sunday. I think both teams will draw and I would be happy with that.
Me too As long as we equal or better their results for the next 10 games we'll be ok, and I think we can manage that.
If we play anywhere near as well as we did in the first 45 minutes vs Chelsea then we'll win. If we play like we did in the second half, we'll be in trouble. One thing you know with United, is that we usually react well to a defeat.
I am worried about Smalling-Brown CB partnership. esp as brown has had little games. Hopefully evra is fit I expect the team to be Rooney Berbatov ....................Giggs...Scholes Carrick Nani ....................Evra.....Brown...Smalling..Oshea
we need to win our games and forget about Arsenal. If we can get out of this week top by 4 points and I am including Arsenal game in hand so 1 point clear if arsenal win then we will have a very good chance because Both Rio and Vidic would return and Rafael would come back in to. Anderson, Park and Valencia will make huge improvements to our midfield.
