Ive not seen Obertan really go for it, so I'll take your word for it mate. Whenever I watch Obertan he frustrates me to bits, he just seems to run in a jagged line before running into trouble. I know he's only young but he needs to know when to play the ball and when to keep it - I'm sure that will come soon though.
Don't say that, it's going to be anything but,(I hope). Who knows, Obertan may do something spectacular, he may find the courage to take a shot at goal.
I think we'll be setting our stall out to frustrate you early doors, and make sure the crowd get edgy. I don't think we'll take too many chances going forward, Pardew will be after a draw from kick-off.
Year woudn't surprise me! It really is tough to predict. Could be a goal here and there, but then look at the previous scores! That's an average of 3.3 goals per game! 73% of which have been scored by us. Love a stat!

He frustrates you?! We're ready to kill him... Immense talent in there on the (rare) occasion that he uses it, he could even have a good day tomorrow. I'm not counting on it though, it's a long term project. As has been suggested, most of our attacking will (or should, rather,) come down the left or middle.

I agree - he's one of those players that blatantly has bags of talent, but pisses about too much and ends up giving it away 8/10 times. Like I said in an earlier thread I've watched a lot of Newcastle since the Tiote/Lucas debate, probably 80% of your games to be honest.
Obertan has a decent shot on him, it's just the gravitational force of his head takes the sting out of it.
