He could easily have every full back in the league in his back pocket with it if he used it as well, which is weird.
he needs to allow the rest of the team to catch up nwith the line of play you know! it's no good getting down the flanks and the striker etc being on the half way line is it.
Obertan's quicker than Enrique, but Jose's so strong. I don't think anyone ever got the better of him in his last three seasons here, he's an absolute beast. Only Messi would get any joy out of him.
I was so surprised how quick Enrique is, when we played Arsenal Walcott tried beating him for pace and he was all over him like a rat up a drain pipe... With his speed it is so rare to have that strength too, solid player.
Interesting. Not sure about your point regarding Dalglish! But I agree it does seem like the key battle for stopping us will be Coloccini vs Bellamy/Maxi/maybe Kuyt. If he has a bad one then we might give your defence the run around with pace and short passing. To be fair, bar the Blackburn game, we've been playing some good stuff, some nice quick/short stuff which is hard to defend against. But you need to finish it! Argh, maybe you'll score and own goal! Midfield will be interesting. I see Tiote steaming our midfield, which is why I can see perhaps Spearing playing - i'm not convinced Adam and Hendo will be able to stop him and BenArfa. Trouble is Spearing isn't the greatest going forward. He reminds me of Scott Parker a bit. Following on from that, if you overun our midfield then Ba will be a real problem. But, our defence is the best its been for about 5 years which does boad well for us. Lucas is a big loss though. With him i'd feel we'd give you less time on the ball. But as it is there is the pocket behind Midfield/defence atm. It will be very tight. I can see us pushing you about a bit at the start. But if we don't score, the longer the game goes the more it will go into your favour. I expect a good atmosphere and this may help us. Who knows, captain fantastic might come on a score a freekick/peno! Has potential to be brilliant!
I think Newcastle will park the bus and play for a draw or to nick a win, and personally I think they'll succeed. We've been wasteful infront of goal all season and we're now up against a very organised defence. Hopefully Newcastle go for it and make it a very open and enjoyable match! Newcastle are a much improved side and not to be underestimated! And the same can be said with us Newcastle fans
Don't be negative! I do agree if they park the bus and succed then it will play into their hands. If they attack then I think we will be very dangerous on the break. Johnson might play a role in this one too.
I see this being a cracking game to be honest. For some reason I'm more exited about this game than I've been all season. Two attacking teams
I know exactly what Enrique will do to Obertan, I've been watching him for 2 years. I'm just saying if anyone is going to outpace him, then we have the man for it. He's quicker than Walcott/Lennon I would put money on it, and bulkier. To clarify, I dont think Obertan will get anything from Enrique, just saying he's quicker than anyone I've seen Enrique face.
Well their will be a game when we actually take our chances and thump some one, let's hope it's this one!! Suarez being out will be a big loss, he's our creative tick but we still have plenty of quality in the side to create chances. Step up Andy Carroll!
