<peacedove> Luis Suarez has been suspended for the match against Newcastle
United tomorrow.I think the press should take part of the blame. His one finger salute
can be interpreted to mean so many things, but the press took advantage of the whole thing.
Perhaps if he had used two fingers that is going to be two match ban.
Fulham fans are also partly responsible because he was getting the stick for the whole
of the game, in short he was provoked.
On the hand the FA see Suarez as soft target, I do not see why Fulham cannot be fined for
    not controlling their supporters.:emoticon-0103-cool:

Don't be an idiot. Every team has fans that chant expletives, the media will always take photos and write about something that will sell. The only person we can blame here is Saurez...he should have just kept his head down and walked off.

I don't think what he did was right but it's hard to take when I have seen photos of five different england player's that have done the same thing and not got banned. It's a disgrace how corrupt, and unbalanced the f.a ****bags are, and it's no wonder the eng national team are a joke with theese idiot's running the show. They even got mugged for the world cup bid <laugh>

Exactly. We don't necessarily think what he done was right, but when you have seen plenty of other players do it and go unpunished its seems harsh, unfair and highlights the FA's best trait, inconsistency.

I have no issues with Suarez getting a ban, what I will be right royally miffed about is if future perpetrators of similar offences get away with it.
    I hate double standards!

    Hmm let's see...

    Is Suarez...

    - Foreign? Yup
    - A LFC player? Yup
    - disapproved of by SAF? Yup

So by my thinking that should easily equate to vilification by both the FA and media <ok>

no if he's been racist he should be banned and if he's sworn at the crowd he should also be banned Barton managed to control himself why can't Suarez and Barton got a lot more abuse than Suarez has.

<doh> If everyone that made gesture's at the crowd in the past got banned then that would be fine but banning one person and letting 5 other's off with the same offenece is shocking.

Just be grateful he's not from Norfolk. He could have been banned for the whole season <yikes>

Ah yes because the FA are controlled by Sir Alex.

Sir Alex must have ordered the FA to ban Rooney for swearing and to ban Rio Ferdinand for 8 months for missing a drugs test whilst others get off more lightly <doh>

The FA have always been inconsistent, it has nothing to do with favouritism ffs <doh>

Chanting CHEAT CHEAT is hardly abuse, particularly when Suarez performs better than Tom Daly.
