“One of the first principles of applied mindism is to never let negative feelings block the path to your goal. Otherwise you are always sinking back into discouragement.” This is the way forward; mindism. My mate tried it but kept falling asleep during group meditation sessions.
Not novel, but I gotta give up smoking. The last time I tried I bought some nicotine patches, they're a bastard to roll.
It seems, and to give credit to NP, he build a good young team, but was unable to get the best out of them attacking wise, which is what NB seems to have unlocked. Long may it continue.
agreed. he did. but as you said NB has unlocked the talent and unleashed the beast. long may it continue indeed.
Tried it, but I couldn't help but feel that it just was not worth the effort; I'll get there in the end!
Mine are more goal-based - set up at least one business, publish at least one website, go to Ibiza, DJ somewhere, do some artwork, go to a country I have never been to before, etc etc And enjoy life and try to make sure those I know enjoy life too.
Think City should make a New Year Resolution. Next Year just post the 3 points to Burnley. Saves a lot of hassle and expense. Whatever we do we just can't win there at the moment.
Professionally, I want my career trajectory to continue. I'm now proficient as a commentator for radio and television in a ton of different sports, and had added public address announcing to my repertoire. Really looking forward to the college/high school soccer season in the fall, too, so I can keep working on my commentating abilities there. My ultimate goal - seriously - is to do radio/TV commentary for an MLS club or the US national team. So I suppose I just want this year to get me a little bit closer to that goal. Personally, I somehow want to stumble onto enough money to be able to see City in person. What I'd prefer is for us to get promoted and then do a summer tour of the US - hopefully with a stop in Columbus - so I can do it that way. I saw Newcastle that way last year and was not disappointed.
I see the advantage in that solution too but am feeling quite peaceable at the moment and just don't want them in the same division and I don't see them being relegated.
