    Alrighty

I see from your signature that you are against a state funded vist from the Pope.

I'm guessing you will have signed the petition to make the Vatican pay for this visit ...

Correct on both counts BTW ... **** my taxes going towards this.

The visit I belive is at the request of the Queen and to hounour Cardinal Newman - name of my high school!!!!

Q - Are you also against a state funded Monarch who has no relevance to a modern Britian?

The United Republic instead of the United Kingdom <ok>

Never realised how class orientated Britain is (namely England) until I started living among them. Some people right up their own arses about where they are from, what school they went, how priveleged their family are etc. **** that get these ****s off their high horse and disband the gentry. Labour has already done a good job getting rid of hereditary peers it's time to remove what remains of the old self serving aritoscracy.

I take it your anti papist and pro monarchist then?

Don't half fulfil the stereotype <laugh>

Bit like those Americans who have no health insurance who are against Obama giving them free health insurance - you are obviously excluded from a part of society which you wish to protect and maintain.

So the monarchy does have a place in the modern world?

At a cost of £40m (not including security costs) she offers very little.

I'd rather have used the money to keep Jonathon Ross at the BBC <ok>

That's my opininion - "has no relevance to a modern Britian" - but I was asking if you were against a state funded Monarch - seeing as you are against a state funded visit from the Pope...

You'd make a good politician - well dodged

So, I'll rephrase my question :

Are you against a state funded Monarch?

Is this against everything you fought for Tommy? Good old British values of racism, intolerance, sectarianism and oppression. What lovely values.

The Queen alone is given £12m a year, 75% is spent on staffing etc etc meaning she pockets £3m a year plus all the other incomes she receives from years of the Royals stealing land & property.

But you are against paying for the leader of the catholic religion to spend a few days here???

Which religion has the most followers in terms of actually going to church in the UK, think you'll find its the Catholics.
