Alot of todays papers are saying we have bid 3M for Billy Sharp and now the Leicester Mercury are saying it so it does have some substance

Rob Tanner got alot right in the summer and was the first to say about Nigel coming back aswell so without doubt he is one of the most reliable people along with Stringer

I think he would be a good signing. Weather this means the end of Beckford we would soon find out with Nugent, Waghorn, Beckford, Howard and Schlupp i think someone will have to go and it will probaly be Jeff out on loan.

I think this is what they are both good at, anyone that sees the effort Nuge puts in will haveto try his best to equal that.

I think Sharp is a very simaliar player to Waghorn

Nigel said the other week he doesnt think our work rate is good enough and if you dont work hard in this league you wont get anywhere. People who dont work hard enough wont play. simple as that

I would rather a worker then someone with all the talent who doesnt work

I don't think Sharp is anything like Waghorn, both can do a job, but neither do the same job.

Waghorn can hold the ball up and help others to score, Sharp is a natural finisher and will score goals himself, his goal scoring rate is almost one in two(Waggy's is one in five).

Sharp and Waghorn couldn't be more similar.

Sharp's just a better Waghorn, although Waggy has time to improve himself further and get his confidence back.

Sharp would be a good signing imo, he´s better than DV, JB & MW put together. Abit unfair on MW you may say, but he´s not done too much in recent years.

I'd agree, he's a very good striker, he had a poor time with the Blades, but other than that his record is exceptional.

I think your big problem here is that he's happy to stay at Donny until he gets a Premier League move, he feels he owes them(something for which he should be commended).

    videos can do anything.

waghorn, is he can get his pace and agility back, is a very good player. but not a 'natural finisher. He is more explosive

    Sorry, but I disagree.

I know he's lost pace and agility but he's still a goalscorer.

Trouble is he's no better than Becks, Nuge or (if we get him) Sharp.

However, I think he'll come good in time and he'll be a solid Championship level striker.

Probably, with him being Donny's main striker for a full season without injuries, starting every game and scoring more goals <doh>

Why do leicester fans constantly tant hull ? They are higher than you in the table and are not spending stupid money. Leicester are a bit of a joke club really. Just because sharp scored twice against you , you just go and buy him and it's not working.

We've got a bit of history now, with the management ins and outs, we don't mind really, it's only really AKCK who blindly rants nonsense.

I posted this on the rumours thread, but I should really have posted it on this one:

It looks like you've got some competition and he's made no secret of the fact that really only wants to move to a Premier League club...
