We have been failing to score with him in the team so far so it would be sods law that we start banging them in for the next 9 games whilst he is out. last time we played without him was a 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge. <ok>

I'd be more concerned about Kuyt than Suarez personally. Suarez, for all the skill he has, just isn't scoring and he needs an in form big man to work with in order to shine in front of goal - which he is lacking.
Without having Suarez to sit back and rely on, I can see a new gameplan from Dalglish being on the cards and, yep, sod's law would dictate that you'll probably score a handful.

Here's to hoping Krul has as great a game as Demba <ok>!

If Carroll scores it won't be game over. We just have to score more. We may be asking for a lot to keep a clean sheet.

I'm a lot more confident of dealing with him now Williamson is back. Carroll fits that Morison/Holt mould which caused us so much trouble when we faced Norwich, so we need a big tall fella like Williamson to deal with his aerial threats.

Other than that, Carroll isn't particularly fast, agile or tricky, so I can't see him causing us TOO much bother.

Absolutely brilliant news. We have a genuine chance of a result, if not a win.

I swear to god Tash, if Amy scores, I will personally hunt you down and slap you with a wet fish!

Something like this could come back to haunt you.

Good news just a shame they have Carroll and Gerrard. That said Carroll is struggling for form and wwe should know his game well enough. First class striker though. Hopefully Gerrard is rusty and his injury curse can strike at any time.

I personally think he'll start with Kuyt and Bellamy up front. Or perhaps Bellamy with Gerrard behind him.

So although Suarez is out we have plenty of options....

Gerrard MIGHT not start, although when he came on at Blackburn he looked the sharpest player on the pitch so with Suarez out Kenny might be tempted to start him.

Well at least your comment cant come back to us if he scores tash. A little OTT?

Suarez isnt scoring, but he is still a big miss and creates a lot of chances, I feel better knowing we dont have to face him. Hopefully they stick just one up front and we can double mark Carroll out of the game - learning from what people did to us.

Have you seen all the liverpool fans comments on this article http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11669/7399219/One-match-ban-for-Suarez

They are feeling so sorry for themselves, how can they defend Suarez for sticking his middle finger up to the crowd? Its bang out of order, they think they're the only team to get punished off the FA, last year Rooney got banned for swearing into the camera, i bet all the bin dippers were laughing they're heads off then. They're all the same, Kenny blaming the media for Carrolls form, Enrique blaming goalkeepers for them not scoring (if he had made an effort to jump when Adam scored that own goal, he would have easily stopped it going in and got his team an extra 2 points), should stop blaming everyone else and take a look at themselves.

Tbh, the two players who worried me the most in Liverpool were Lucas and Suarez, and they're both out.

It's encouraging, but still a tough, tough game, where I'd be happy with a draw.

Means Bellamy and Carroll will probably play, and you just know they'll both score, it's the rules, they just have to.

With Suarez out , the match will certainly be won or lost on the flanks...
There'll be some interesting duels like
    Simmo vs Downing
Raylor + Jonas + Colo vs Kuyt
    Jonas vs Johnson
    Obertan vs Enrique

which I can see us winning ...

Can't see us winning the last one. Obertan up against Jose doesn't fill me with confidence.
