Don't get people betting on Alonso to beat Massa, the odds are so short even though it's a certainty.
I think that's a fair bet actually! I've not checked the odds but if you're getting better than 2:1, which is very likely when one considers Raikkonen's popularity, I reckon you have made a reasonable bet. I may soon consider something similar myselfâ¦
Just put a tenner (real life) on Vettel at 11/8 and a fiver on Alonso at 5/1. McLaren better have a crap car this year.

Off topic for a moment longer: Unless I'm mistaken, Genji's genius provided the beauty of this fantastically successful forum feature. As is so often the case, the beauty is in its simplicity. It's great that you've taken over the running of it, Ninja. I would suggest that any modifications be thoroughly thought through. Oops, perhaps I should have been a bit more specific in my OP. I didn't mean change the rules of the game, Cosi, far from it. Genji set the game up wonderfully and I don't intend to change that at all. But I was referring to more along the lines of how it is run. E.g. Would you rather the sweeps start sooner or later? Would you rather I skip thecryptic revealing process (which -even though I quite enjoy it- is actually not that easy anymore; I'm struggling to think of new ways to reveal drivers )? P.S. If you slip me a 'red lobster' ($20 AUS) I can guarantee you an extra round of Kovalainen
Keep the driver reveals, some of them were really funny. How much did Fred bribe you with for all those Vettel's he got last year?
I appreciate the huge effort this takes Ninja (while I sit back and let my drivers do the work!). However, I didn't realise you knew Kovy quite so well and have already eaten the lobster. I'll do my best to find some other source of persuasion when the time comes of course, but don't tell the whole forum or my cover will be blown⦠But seriously, I'm sure it's a lot of work to continue being so creative. The way you have been running it seems extremely popular and adds to the fun. And despite missing out on a driver a few times, the timing seems fine to me - especially when one bears in mind that the game can only accommodate a limited number of players, which is a great way to encourage would-be punters to get in and visit the forum early. I think you do an absolutely superb job, and sincerely hope you will continue your efforts. Cheers. ©

Are the odds in the first post set to automatically update then? Or are they locked until the beginning of the season?
Is it too late to enter? If not, I'll start with £1 on Mercedes to win the Constructor's @ 28/1, and try to spend the other £19 more cautiously.
