999 Good Stuff ... however Telfordranger posts more ****e than i do ... in fact he/she/it wins hands down!!! ... if you study his posts there isn't many positives at all about QPR and I seriously doubt if he has any idea about football at all. He has the right to disagree or course and post but he has nothing worth while looking at ... I hope he sees the error of his ways in the end as its a cheap shot to piss on QPR at the moment which he does at as soon as he/she/ it can. He has an opinion contrary to any other opinion and requires hitting between the eyes with a small highly polished medical stainless steel hammer. Its very very clear that he has based his opinion on what he reads in the papers or online and is not connected to his QPR soul. What is the point of this ****e? if you can't post what you would do to change it??? ... Telford post up how you would play the QPR team against the Arsenal then to get a positive result instead of moaning about rubbish I directly challenge you to post up a positive comment about QPR. I have one issue with QPR Barton and have ranted about it ... I will stand corrected as and when he does what he is paid for .. Taarabt is clearly our most creative player and Barton our most destructive IMO
You've completely got the wrong end of the stick. I implied that you may have been drunk because you kept replying to yourself, nothing else.
Well said Telford, a well thought-out piece and put across clearly. Your summing up is spot-on, circumstances have put us in this position, the signings we made before the Goons went were squad players at best and those made afterwards were the best of the 'leftovers', hardly considered planning for a new season in the world's toughest league. The fact we have players such as Buz, Connolly and others who clearly are not PL quality in the squad and have been exposed as such shows that we're still way off being a secure PL side. I think 6-8 players are needed to give us a chance of staying up and January is not the best time for bringing in players, it'll be a tough month of wheeling and dealing. As for London Calling saying Taarabt is our best player, where is the evidence? Goals 0, assists 1? Headline dazzling performances 0, strops several. To be our best player needs performances week-in week-out, running himself ragged for the cause even when lost and being prepared to bring others into the game rather than glory-hunting. The player that fills that bill is Ali Faurlin, if Taarabt showed half his effort and application he'd be a first choice every week. Yesterday was a good effort by Taarabt but he'll need to do that every game from now on to earn his place in the team, he has all the ability in the world and when he realises that more than ability is required he and the team will benefit greatly, it's up to him now because no-one will buy him in this window. Judge Warnock at the end of the season when he has made his 1st choices in this window and played half the season with his real 1st team...
Telford...I find your thread and subsequent add-ons very strange. I don't think there are many serious NW haters on here and you choose to rubbish Taarabt, really ripping into him, just as he's starting to do the business!! Very odd and, if I may say so, unnecessarily provocative!!
I understand all Taarabt's faults and also understand why people find him such a pain!! BUT FFS....he's starting to play well and do what people are asking of him and he still gets hammered!! I think some of you Adel haters would rubbish him after a hat-trick and 2 assists in a 5-0 win!! Unbelievable really...especially when he's our best player by many, many country miles!! (Still....much prefer to watch someone run all day...and produce **** all eh?!!).
Rangercol, what we've seen from Adel this season has been very poor, if he could produce what we all know he's capable of we'd be laughing but he's done sod all and your last (comment) actually sums Taarabt up perfectly this season...
We've played 18 games, the last three have seen a marked improvement but he should have been doing that from day one in the PL. He's been selfish and unprofessional and let the team down showing up unfit, not training properly and thinking he's too good for us. The fact so many still defend his actions and want him in the team shows the belief we all have in him. I hope he does prove all the doubters wrong, I really do, because that will mean QPR benefit from that. Adel should know he is not bigger than our club and if he bombs then he's out,,,
I've got your back col! Tarrabt is our most creative player at the club! He was good against swansea, and sees the pass that unfortunately others don't quite read. Barton on the other hand has done what numerous players can do!! Run, tackle, play a poor pass, and take poor set pieces! Ten a penny player in my opinion where as tarrabt is one in a million!
Good skills Bob. Tarrabt is QPR ... Those who see any different simply DO NOT understand football and Tarrabt has a right to be pissed at his treatment IMO We play better with him in the side there is simply no doubt about that
Agree to a point, but sometimes it's like a competition between him and Barton who can give the ball away most!
Two things: 1) Creative players are bound to give the ball away more! 2) However...Taarabt's pass completion against Swans was 98%!! Barton was much better against Swansea and showed some of his old fire, but he hasn't got a fraction of Adel's ability.
