Anybody know any more about developments with our own targets? The Boro and WHU games have shown us that we need to be a little more clinical, so that we can get into the automatic places

It will all end in tears when they do'nt get promoted thats my prediction.Billy Sharp is a pretty good player thats for sure but he is a long way from being the final piece of the puzzle at Leicester FFS.
More money pissed away like the 3 mill they spent on Beckford who to be honest on paper is a better striker than Sharp.
I'm suprised that NP is'nt talking to the owners right now saying we do'nt need to splash the cash this Jan give me another season and I'll build you a good team for a promotion push.
He can do it we all know that but if he only has till May to get it right then then he will be out of a job and back down a division below rebuilding with somebody else

As in "Percival"? As in "Tony_Warners_Face"? As in "McLean For England"? As in the WUM who "lives near Leeds" and only shows his gob when we lose and still defends Phil Brown and Jimmy Bullard? I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised.

Pearson still lives in Sheffield and travels to the epic ****hole that is Leicester, Donny to Leicester is prob only an hour and a bit so he wouldn't have to move

John Percy seems to fairly reliable when it comes to Leicester stories and this is hardly a surprise.

Sky reporting a £3m bid from LCFC which DRFC are likely to accept. As for distance Donny to Leicester 50miles, Donny to Hull 50 miles (approx)

Over to you messers Barmby, Allam and Sharpe!

What everyone is aware of is January isn't a buyers market and we need a goal scorer desperately

Martyn Waghorn is going to be wondering what's going to happen to him in the New Year.

I saw Sharp play a few times at Sheff United when he signed for them on a big money deal and he never stepped up, looked bloody awful most of the time. Maybe hes a small club player?

Well if we don't put a counter bid in within the next few days or so, I expect we aren't really interested afterall. In which case, forget him!!!

Pointless bidding, if Lesteristan are the competition. They, stupidly, are offering Premiership wages. It just won't happen.

Also, Lesteristan is 73 miles from Donny.

I'd rather see us goback to Burnely with a £3m for Rodriguez and test their mettle.

Id rather have players that want to come to Hull City than have players end up with us because Lesteristan don't want them any more.

@WHUFC_News on Twitter: "Our enquiry for Jordan Rhodes has been responded to by Huddersfield saying they want £4m"

I'm happier with Matt Fryatt than spending that sort of money.

Can't we just bid £3.5 mill?

We'd still not get him, but it'd drag out the bidding to use up a bit of the transfer window available to others and they'd have to pay more.
