Why is he not getting any game time from the start or even off the bench? Lot of people point out that he looks a better player then Walcott was at the same age yet while Walccott was a super sub at 18, AOC is lucky to get in the match day squad. AOC is clearly stronger then Walcott was back then and is you could argue as powerful as Walcott now. He is certainly a lot more robust and is stocky.

He caused a full back like Pablo Zabaleta all sorts of problems when we played City. Beating him on the outside then when shown in he let fly with his weaker foot. This guy is as an astonishing talent. Yet his only sub appearance was against United in the 8-2. This is just weird. He can cross with ease and that is what you need against teams that pack the middle and allow you to go wide. AOC will love that space to whip the crosses in. This is annoying now and I hope Wenger gives him the game time he deserves.

Been thinking this for a while especially when you think its arshavin thats constantly coming on ahead of him, and I'm sure I don't need to tell you no longer has the ability or passion to deserve to play for your club.

Can't be long left for Arshavin. Oxo just needs the one chance and I think when he gets it then he will make sure to take it. Then he can become our super sub/important squad memeber for the run in.

I think OXO definitely deserves his chance, but to be fair - Rosicky, Benayoun and Arshavin did alright today Arshavin nearly scored a ****in beauty - if that had gone in people would be saying he's deserved another chance, so I think people need to assess player's performances, not the reputation they're carrying into the game.

Bar united every time he's touched the grass for you guys he's been in the top 3 if not top performer(s). I don't know how many chances he needs to grab!

QPR or Fulham? Has to feature in one of those. Then there is the Leeds game.

Ryo is still injured. I think OXO will get his chance in the next three games.

Not sure about Ryo to be fair. He was not even ready to start in the Carling Cup. He is clearly behind OXO in his development. I think a loan to a prem club would be perfect for Ryo.

I'm amazed that Oxo isn't being given a chance. I thought Wenger was supposed to have an eye for talent.

People are forgetting he did exactly the same thing with Theo.

Theo didn't play at all before the World Cup (I think), then he came on as a sub a few times in the first half of the next season with him starting games eventually in the 2nd half.

Wenger takes time to break each player of nasty habits- like using initiative and inventiveness.

OXO is the most overrated Arsenal player at the moment. He is just a very talented boy with no experience at the highest level. I am sure Wenger would love to give him some playing time, but all the games are so tight, there is simply no space for the boy. In a game like yesterday I would rather see Arshavin than OXO coming as a sub.

I think AW is protecting him - Walcott was thrown in at a young age and suffered injury after injury, maybe AW thinks that his body needs time to develop or the physical nature of the league will be too strong for him ?

so how is he going to learn? By being left out - or getting frustrated on the bench?

By training with experienced players and watching/learning.
RVP always said that not playing wasn't hurting his development when you train with Dennis Bergkamp every day

Fine - so we bought a terrific prospect that in a couple of seasons MIGHT get a start.
