Racing today come from Leicester, Catterick, Lingfield, Wolverhampton, Leopardstown and Limerick. The Lexus at Leopardstown looks a fascinating race. Plenty of chances on a track with a bit of give in it. Over the 3 miles I thought they might begin to string out in the last four furlongs, so I've settled on AP's ride Synchronised to plod into the money. Too bad it won't be a bog. Leicester. 13:30 Belle De Fontenay. Ardent. 14:00 Medinas. Oddy. Catterick. Lingfield. Leopardstown. 13:25 Last Instalment. Cats. 11-4. 14:35 Synchronised. EW. cyc. 8-1. 14:35 Synchronised. EW. SCGDS. 8-1. 14:35 Quito De La Roque. Furiousiceman. Limerick. This is really a lovely horse and I speak from personal experience since I once mounted her mother. Ted Walsh
Interesting action from Ireland today. Fancy Quito De La Roque quite strongly today. Also quite like Dare to Dream to upset the two principles in the Xmas hurdle.
Morning Cyc - some serious looking racing from Ireland today, but the nap vote goes to Medinas (2.00 Leicester). Alan King's gelding made his debut in a Wetherby bumper in February and was just touched off by the more experienced Distime (who was subsequently considered good enough to run in the Champion bumper at Aintree and has looked a decent recruit to hurdling this season with a fine 2nd to Barbatos and a subsequent victory at Bangor). Medinas then ran in a bumper at Newbury in March and won well from a number of horses from powerful yards who have since gone on to post some decent efforts - a fairly strong looking bumper. Medinas was then put away for the summer and made his hurdling debut at Fontwell 3 weeks ago where he found only the Henderson / McCoy combination with Lets Get Serious too good (beaten 2 1/2 lengths). The 3rd horse home that day, Emma Lavelle's Fox Appeal, has since come out and won a class 3 handicap hurdle off 122 and this gives the form a solid look. The danger is Emma Lavelle's Black Noddy who finished strongly after a bad mistake on hurdles debut to finish 3rd. The Leopardstown card is a real cracker as you would expect, with the Gigginstown colours once again likely to be in the winners enclosure with Make Your Mark (12:25), Last Instalment (1:25) and possibly Quito De La Roque, although Rubi Light is sure to be thereabouts and hopefully this race will throw up a serious Cheltenham Gold Cup horse for the Irish. The decent going at Leopardstown has also prompted Colm Murphy to try the super-game mare Volar La Vedette at 3 miles again and she can take revenge over Mourad. Best of luck everybody
Cyc I will be joining you on Synchronised. Jonjo O'Neill quoted saying 'He is not the biggest so we thought it was better to compete on the level weights in the Lexus (instead of the Welsh National) . He's in great order and the ground cannot be soft enough' That's good enough for me and @ 14/1 I think its a cracking price
Odddy surely Davey Russell hasn't got it wrong again with First Lieutenant over Last Installment. Had excuses last time and I think he will hack up today have put it in a big lucky 15 with VLV (hope she stays this 3m) Rubi Light who will be way too quick for Quito - I expect it to be like the SE race last time if RL doesn't stay Quito will be doing the finishing but if he gets home this could be easy. And last selection is Make your mark who should easily win the opener
morning all Back saving life, hope all are well At Catterick my mates Horse Alloro back out today 3rd race back from injury, last 2 times very poor and didnt seem fit but Zander Voy thinks there will be more to come from them runs and they are hopefull of a place Kings Grey fit and well and Hughsey gets the leg up on Wades best horse trained by Kieth, good things expected Stay Frosty

Chief, was up your way yesterday at the "my shanghi" use to be the old cannon inn i think good grub at great price, even had time for a dig at the Royal Quays but hit a water pipe, think wet and wild is more wild than wet
Morning all. Cracking card at Leopardstown today, I think the three big ones will go the way of the favs. 1.25 First Lieutenant made a horror error (having jumped OK until then) at Fairyhouse last time out but this better ground will suit and I'd expect him to get the better of Last installment 2.00 Voler La Vadette would be a superstar mare had she not been born in the same era as Quevega, she now has to take on the boys to stand a chance of getting he rhead in front and whilst this is a tough race I think she is another who will appreciate better ground. 2.35 Fascinating Lexus but I am warming to the fact that Quito de la Roque could be a serious horse, and yet another who should go on the ground. 7/4 is not a great price in such a competitive race but there are enough question marks about the others to make this a play, Joncol for place money. Good luck all
thats doon shields hessienburg---bit of a swim from here. btw---does anyone know who this SVENS FOX is on fugees?
Morning All, Been given two over the AW today... both have good claims to win and i've also put them in an e/w double. 3:15 Ling - Rocky Elsom 3:50 Wolves - Pitkin Whilst I like: 1:25 Leop - Last Instalment (NAP)
