I cant wait for next Sunday, a pressure free game to me because we dont expect anything. The chance to see some top footballers and to see how we can compete, WBA showd its possible.
Exactly syd nowt to lose so lets just go for it and give them a game, they'll have worked on what went wrong for them against WBA and will be ready for it again. Fair play to WBA though they worked their socks off for the team and , had a game plan which they stuck to. Maybe we can be the second team to stop them scoring and the second team to beat them this season, or maybe not.
Totally agree with the comments above...Not even the most blinkered of our supporters will expect us to beat City, which in my opinion will take the presure off the team..
If we dont have Bamble and Bardo I would have no problem with a back 4 of Gardner..OShea..Brown..Richardson. Gardner did fine yesterday and for me is a far better bet than Elmo.
Gardners pace, or rather lack of it, could be a problem against AJ. Quite rightly nobody is expecting owt from this game so possibly the time to experiment. Stick Mclean on from the beginning, put Noble on the bench, if Titus is unfit stick Kilgannon in. Lets see if they are gonna make it with SAFC and its good prep for the cup game.
