Very hard game against Spurs and Utd. Liverpool could be difficult for them with Carrol and Surez probably having more games under their belt. Bolton is never a easy game to. The season in my opinion is in the balance
am sick of our excuses of losing. When we lose its either the officials or the Glazers. How about we credit the team Chelsea who played well and really wanted the win. We played well as well and I was pleased with how we played. You don't hear the Gunner as much as our fans crying about lack of funds. Arsenal have never bought a top player and their biggest signing was 15m arshavin. We have debts and must accept this as fact. Stop thinking about ifs and buts and Glazers. If you are not happy with the Glazers then stop buying Utd merchandise and stop going to games. Its simple as that cut everything off and then your voice will be heard. However, the consequence are far worse than the situation we are in now and fans would have to wait years to see a top Utd side. But if your so worried about the future then take that course of action and be patient about Utds return . Or you could trust our manager as he knows best.
Well said . I have noticed that when you lose the Glazers are always mentioned whereas when you win they are not, as the problem has been constant throughout that time it seems to me like they are being scapegoated. I don't think all this debt has made any discernible differences to you. You spent ã20 million in the summer, are top of the league now and are tying down all your best players on to expensive long term contracts. Don't make out that you are in some kind of doomsday scenario where everything is going wrong. It seems to me that an attitude like that is just in case you don't win anything and you can say 'It was all their fault'. Your problems are tiny compared to other clubs like Chelsea, or what Liverpool went through (when their owners were actually bad). Stop being hysterical about them.
Back to the point hey. I will make my assumption of the Glazers after this summer window. I feel Ferguson will give bigger roles to Cleverly and maybe Pogba and Anderson. I also feel he will sign 1 midfielder to as Hargo is leaving. Gibson is going to want games and not be a squad player and could leave. Scholes I think wants to retire and could. I can see a midfielder and a few players being promoted.
Stoke away this season isn't tough for any team worth their salt. Spurs and United, granted. Liverpool won't be difficult for them. Bolton will give them real problems. Our run in is tougher though and Chelsea won't exactly be quivering at the thought of a trip to OT, given their record against us and how we surrendered today.

Stop being hysterical about them.
We spent ã20 million in the summer. Chelsea spent ã70 million in January. Now, i don't expect us to spend as much as Chelsea. But i do expect us, as the biggest revenue makers in England, to spend an amount of money in some way befitting that status. We used to. We no longer do. That doesn't make sense, given the sheer ****ness of our midfield.
Gooner fan = peace! The Glazers Have ****ed you over! The biggest mistake was, probably not being sold to Sky!! Now you need to be sold to the Arabs = Fact Once a club worth 650 - 700 ã mill., pure profit to a club worth 1.5 ãBill debt. How the mighty have fallen, in such a short time. I really hope for you and your club's sake the ragheads take you over (or the red Knights)
robin_van_ fiberglass Its all fired up because of Man City, many fans have become jealous of their spending and want to see massive signings. Some even hope we do badly to prove a point and give substance to their claims that Utd have no funds at all even though we spent 20m in the summer. When we lose all you will hear is Glazers this and Glazers that. They are clutching at every part of the straws they can. They were adamant the Glazers would have taken all the Ronaldo money and used it by now. Now the excuse has changed from Leaching the funds in the bank to the Glazers making a massive plan not to spend a penny so that Utd value can increase and them selling it on a high without spending in 5 years. Some how they expect Utd to remain in the top 4 without any money being put in.
sagegee tiger Why make a comment of such stupidity. 1.5B DEBT? I have heard 900m 1b but 1.5b. Where do you get your figures from. As for the red knights they are clowns.
Merry Stoke where strong against them at the emirates. I am sure they will be stronger at their ground. As for Chelsea at home we can defo beat them and their is no question about that. Us at home are a different side to away from home.
Maybe seeing as you are heading towards a league title (you are first so don't try to deny it) that SAF is right and you don't need to spend a lot of money. He said you would do it when Giggs and Scholes retire so why not wait till then to see if he will spend rather than complaining about it now.
No Luis. Some people just realise that there is a pretty strong correlation between expenditure and success. And, particularly when you do not spend the money on reinforcements in areas of weakness, the biggest prizes will elude you. Now, Luis, let's ignore city and the rest of the sugar Daddy clubs. How much money are United spending in comparison to those football clubs making similar revenues and profits to ourselves? The Glazer's DO expect United to remain in the top 4 without any of their own money being put in (and don't you ever forget that whilst you defend the leaching bastards) and will continue to aim for top 4 with the lowest expenditure possible full stop.
Merry lets wait and see. You have ruled us out of the title race since august so continue to do so. Utd will fight till the end and if we don't win it and Arsenal win it I can only congratulate them but I will be proud of my side. No excuse, no Glazer nonsense. I am 100% confident we will be with a shout of this league on the last day of the season. We might not win at Pool but even so we will fight and have a chance.
The Glazer thing isn't nonsense but regardless, you are the guy who has giftwrapped Arsenal the title on numerous occasions this season already (or was that one of your many aliases who did that?) Regardless, I don't rate Arsenal that highly. They aren't a great team but i do think, with their easier run in than ours (and it is easier) and our poor midfield, they'll win it. Next year will only be harder as Chelsea, with the players they possess, will be strong. You yourself have said we need investment in midfield. I'd be willing to bet a fairly sizable amount that we won't see established midfield signing(s)
Chelsea next season hmmmm What a even older drogba A even older terry A even older cole A even older Lampard Torres no matter what you say looks a shadow of himself A even older Malouda These players are coming to an end of there peak and its no coincidence they have dropped to 4th this season from 1st. There is bigger problems with Chelsea than jus form. They need another 5 top 25m signings so thats another 100m needed. I am not sure how their books will look but it won't be good and I really doubt they will spend crazy in the summer. Rule us out all you like I will continue to support my team. Arsenal have a very good chance, there best ever but time will tell.
As I've already said, we will not sign even one proven midfielder (and by proven, i mean one who has played at a good standard of football for at least a couple of seasons and shone). We may well sign some young guy who may or may not be good in the future but that is pretty much our limit. For a club who turn over what we do it is pretty feeble to be operating on such a basis.
Okay we will not win the league or anything and we will not beat Liverpool and we will not buy a good midfielder. Okay thats what I have learned from you today.
