How can someone possibly ask for evidence of evolution, plenty of which exists, and yet have absolute faith in the sky fairy for which there is not one single shred of evidence?
No one talking to you TFWNN? Answer me this: why is it when people are enjoying a good period in their lives they say it's because they have God in their corner yet when disaster strikes, religious people say it has nothing to do with God as he cannot interfere? And then they start on about free will etc. Always struck me as a bit odd that.
sorry fella but you seem to have the wrong end of the stick. let me break it down there some on here that argue evolution and that is fine (as certain evolution is in fact proven and correct) There are some who venture into species hopping, or a species becoming something else. I dont agree with this but that is not the issue The issue is that evolution occurs, it is slow and takes YEARS, so at some point is it feasible to suggest that you could have a half and half species? so lets say (and it is a silly example) that we know cats can become dogs over a period of time. Therefore at some point there must be a cog/dat If the change happens overnight then that would be transformation now watch some on here take that example liiterally
where you been fella? I have genuinely missed you TBH real religious people would acknowledge that ALL good and bad things happen because of the will of the creator (god insinuates just certain groups) Also the disaster and free will thing are two different things Free will relates to the choices you make at given times and what you base those choices on. So for example say the creator has forbidden drinking but you choose to do so you have made the choice out of free will But say an earthquake happens, then that isnt through your will, its certainly from the creator. The example is of the boat made for 5 people, if it sinks it was fate/will of creator etc If its made for 5 but 10 people in it and it sinks then its a bit much blaming a creator
You don't understand evolution if you think men came from apes. They didn't they just shared a common ancestor which was ape like and evolved/adapted in different ways to suit their situations. Evolution is just the passing on of certain genes not shape shifting as you put it.
And you want to spend eternity with this supposed creator who happens to enjoy sinking boats, causing earthquakes and generally knocking off people willy-nilly for no reason whatsoever. Sounds like a nice chap to pass your time with.
evening DB I dont believe ape became man, I am arguing with those that do The common ancestor thing is actually debatable too. Apes are and always have been apes (all 6000 odd although only 120ish exist today) Man has always been man, the fossil records actually prove this if you care to explore in detail. I believe in evolution, as in adaptation and the whole passing on of genes etc. I think turning from one species to a completely different one is 'shapeshifting'.
I was basing my 'knowledge' on the very scientific community. As i said do the research, properly, and the scientific community you speak of (in relation to ape -man) have been lied to, have falsified, ignored etc so often its a wonder people accept anything they say dont just focus on the fossils they 'show' you look at those they dont. check the timescales and check the change upon change every year to existing data to make it fit
So all the people killed in the 2003 tsunami for example - there was a greater purpose to that, was there? You religious types demand evidence and then ignore it when it is presented to you. Why not hold your religious beliefs up to the same (or any) level of examination? Really, I'd have a lot more respect for you if just said "look, I believe in a book, a book written by tribal desert dwelling individuals who were virtually clueless about the world around them, and I believe that this book is the word of God because it says so in the book. I know how outlandish that sounds, but hey, it's what I believe." Instead, you claim you have proof and evidence. No, you don't. Your evidence is no more than that held by scientologists and any other whack job cult or religious group. You just have time and number of followers to add some weight and reassurance to your beliefs.
The only person who has not provided any evidence or even a proper argument is you. I have provided what I believe is the proof using specifically scientists who are not muslim
We aren't arguing apes became humans. Humans are apes. And as for "Man has always been man, the fossil records actually prove this if you care to explore in detail," you might actually want to have a word with all the leading scientists in the field. I think they might have one or two things to point out to you. But hey, I suppose the fact you know nothing about the topic completely outweighs all the evidence outlined by those that do.
Your beliefs are sick, you just fail to see that. You believe in a monster. A creator that has no qualms about extinguishing the lives of hundreds of thousands of people in one event. And your argument for that is 'hey, it says so in a book.' I have no idea what that first sentence means. And I'm not saying that you need approval from me, I'm saying you should admit that you have no rational arguments to support your beliefs, you just believe them. Instead, you post nonsense that would embarrass a 5 year-old. You believe because it is in a book that you believe is the word of God. That is it. End of story. No proof, nothing. Just a book. Fine, but just bloody admit it. That isn't me demanding proof, that is me saying you should admit there isn't any.
why dont YOU tell me who the leading scientists are and I will. Why dont you look at the dates of some of the fossils found and see how they dont make chronological sense even better try writing something instead of being so vague You have been at it all along, yet I await a proper response
No, we weren't, you were. How many times does the same thing have to be said to you? What part of common ancestor do you not understand?
