I can understand why we debate bad refereeing decisions, will we get near Newcastle and can we make the top 10 but in dwelling on that we miss the positives, IMO.

Most of us I think have written off this season, the higher we get the better but the real comparison is now to a few weeks ago, before MON.

I supported Bruce up to the end, not because he was good but because he was here, that changed when he went and now its no longer before and after Bruce its the new Sunderland.

I don't expect miracles but feel we have already seen one, remember its the same players and the same problems but you would be forgiven to think its a brand new team.

Nothing is the same, players and fans attitude, desire, work rate, belief and commitment, even my seat feels a little warmer in the East Stand.

We may well be bottom half now and we may well drop further next weekend, but, if MON can get the improvement he has in 4 games, 2 away from home, then sod Howard Webb, nothing will stop our climb and at last that carpet may find some magic.

Nah syd your seat at the SOL isn't warmer. It was that kiss of scatty that did it.

Okay, Okay I admit it. I'm jealous of you.

At least if we do drop a little bit down the table next weekend we'll still not be in the bottom three which is a bit better situation than a few weeks ago.

A drop next weekend doesn't bother me in the least. Later in the season, most other clubs will drop after playing Man. C. so it'll balance itself out.

A brilliant name for a new brand of mouthwash - Snogascatty. I'm going to copyright that.
