With Gervinho and Chamakh off to the ACON it presents an opportunity for Park to show us what he can offer. He's hardly had any game time yet, so it's difficult to make an assessment. But in the little time that he has played he has already shown that he has quality - the goal against Bolton was a classy finish. We're also likely to see more of Arshavin in January, he will need to improve massively on what have been pretty ineffective performances. Both now have their chance. So before we write them off, let's see what they can do in Jan and Feb. I don't buy into all this rubbish about park not being good enough, he has hardly played, I think he has less than 5 appearances, anyone who has played football at a decent level will know it's very difficult to perform when your only getting a game every now and again and a few sub appearances. People need to give the guy a chance.
Hear Hear!!!! I think Park was specifically bought because Gerv and Cham were ofto ACON so he will get games (starting with leeds). The statement i really agree with is Arshavin needs game time, i still think him and rosicky have a lot to offer - selling these 2 for £10mn odd combined in Jan will not be offset as realistically we will not be buying anyone major. And losing two attacking players in Jan is silly seeing as we will lose two to ACON anyway if one or both spark into form the benefits will greatly outweigh any negatives.
