Says how ben arfa is limited to cameo's at the minute. Hope that doesn't mean best will start on Friday!

 

In otherwords he's not going to start any games for a while yet. Oh well Vukic and Ba up tops for me. Best just isn't quite good enough .

 

Pardew will **** me right off if we lose arguably one of the best and classiest players we have (who we're lucky to have) just because he isn't giving Ben Arfa the game time he DESERVES.

If we are to play without HBA, we should start Vuckic behind Ba, not Best again. Best is clearly not ready after his injury.

It won't be long before Hatem kicks off and then Pardew will never play him even as a sub.

Based on personal experience I agree with AP....I was out for 6 months with a fractured tibia and until now I've never looked the same player as I was before it...it's gonna take time, loads of it..

BUT that is no reason not to play HBA DAMMIT! He's still better than half our team technically!

I still reckon Benny's injury might be being used as a cover story for him being benched to keep his ego in check.
I also have a feeling that even Pardew might have noticed Best needs to be dropped, he simply hasn't been good enough these last few games.

 

Nah he's not...I could tear defences open with Xavi-like through balls but he can't... All he can do is get 30 minute cameos and score to put us ahead when there was nothing going right for us..

You've taken one comment out of context and are now all over Pardew. What happened in pre season? We played him 3 games in a row and he got a second nasty injury. He will start games soon, I'll take the advice of coaches, doctors and physios over people on a football forum as to when a player is fully fit.

 

Don't forget a timely assist midweek! Well, without another defensive blunder afterwards would have been a timely assist...

 

Agree with this. Everyone on here is starting to turn into Bano when it comes to HBA!

 

Ben Arfa has a goal and an assist in his last 2 cameos. I'd say he's earned a start.

 

I've always been biased towards Ben Arfa, including when I got surrounded by guys on Percy St. while wearing my Marseille strip saying "What the **** kind of shirt is that?!" haha
I'm fine with Pardew saying he's being left out because of fitness or training reasons, so long as he doesn't say its because Best of Shola are offering more in their current forum. And if he wants him back to his best, he needs to at least receive sub appearances (which he has been this week - so fair dues for that)
