    Sounds stupid and we'll get plenty of hate from Newcastle fans if we did but I'd say offer a swap with Demba Ba for Andy Carroll, or £15m...

    Not even bothered with watching the highlights, I have already seen this story for the past 3 months. Podolski looks the most attainable so I will go with him.

    Is that you don't know him or just want more info? He is quality, plays at cologne/Koln and they are all over the place with the board, league position etc and he has admitted it is time to look elsewhere.

    The others would go for silly silly prices that I dont think we have at the moment or the right lure (CL) at the moment.

    I said before Newcastle signed him that Ba was the one. Especially on a free ! But I was told he was rubbish by more knowledgeable fans !

    Problem with signing him is fat Ashley knows he can drive a ridiculous price to us !

    Id be happy with Rodellega or a similar type, physically strong, bit of pace, can lead the line and play on the shoulder & wouldn't mind a bit of rotation.
