Macca. That was so stupid, if he had made it to January, would he have had his yellow card slate wiped clean?

Or dudgeon - think he can play DR too

Straight choice between Macca and Dudgeon - would choose Dudgeon myself since he is more match fit

No, I don't think so - yellow cards last for the whole season.

Macca will obviously be the one coming in, unless Nick really doesn't fancy him and moves to Corry to right back and Oli/Dudgeon into central midfield.

Probably Mc Shane - although I think he is better at CB

If you get 5 yellow cards before Jan you will serve a 1 match ban, after you have served that, they will be wiped clean although it won't matter because after Jan no matter how many bookings you have had, they will all be wiped clean anyway!

So if Rosenior had 4 yellow cards and didn't pick up any yellow cards in December, would he have his slate wiped clean in January back to zero?

Don't know what the incident was, but in previous games this season that same ref has been a bandit. One game with 9yellows, and another 2 games both with 7. He has handed out 57 yellows and 3 reds in 57 games this season.

A loaned player receives a 5th yellow card but the next game is against the team he has been loaned from and the loan agreement says he cannot play in the match.
Does that match count as the one he is forced to sit out meaning technically he does not miss a match?

He still misses that game that he can't play in, they mentioned it on sky for someone last week who was in this situation i think it was alan hutton for villa and he missed the spurs game through suspension even though he wouldn't have played anyway

    No.

    1) I'm pretty sure the "amnesty" is at the end of January or even in February because Lee Cook when he got sent off against us for QPR a few years ago it was his 5th and 6th bookings of the season. The first one meant he would have missed the next game, but because he got a 2nd one they were both scrapped. He ended up missing the next game because of the red card and then came back from that suspension still on 4 yellow cards and one card away from another ban (which really annoyed their manager and fans).

    2) If you're on 4 yellow cards at the "amnesty" you remain on 4 yellow cards. What happens normally is after 5 cards you get a 1 match ban, 10 yellows a 2 match ban, 15 a 3 match ban, etc. After the "amnesty" the 1 match ban is scrapped, but you still get 2 after 10 cards and so on (There is another "amnesty" later in the season for the 10 yellow card ban as well). Depending on your discipline you're actually better off this way, if they were wiped you'd be 5 cards away from a 1 match ban, this way if you were on 4 cards you're 6 games away from a 2 match ban, so if you only get 5 cards after the amnesty you're not suspended this way.

    10 Cautions
If a Player receives 10 cautions between the first day of the season and the second Sunday in April they will be suspended for a period of 2 match suspension and be fined £15.
If a Player receives a 10th caution after the second Sunday in April they will be severely censured and warned as to their future conduct and no suspension shall be imposed.

The Fail said last week that all yellows were wiped after the Burnley game.
