With us on the hunt for a new forward, I cant see no reason why we dont have the monster that is Demba Ba as the new number 9.

He has been superb for us since his arrival, and history says that mist of number 9s have been good old fashioned centre forwards.

I see Demba Ba as just that. If anything more technical ability too.

Hes a hard worker and seems like the model pro that we want.

Lets give him another season at least then give him the number. However will this put pressure on him? whilst playing 19 he his hitting his stride..

    THoughts?

A big factor for the 9 shirt is loyalty, if he's here after the summer window closes and he's kept his nose clean and his form up, give it to him. <ok>

Why give him the number 9 shirt, don't fix something that isn't broken!

This. Next season, or the season after that, if he's still here and still banging them in, then give it him. We could just take the 1 off his shirt and stitch it onto Krul's shirt while we're at it, save a bit of money <whistle>

Although I see no difference in him having it not. Not bothered about the no.9 anymore...

He said that he wanted the number 19 shirt for personal reasons and said that he wouldn't want the No 9 shirt

My favourite goal of the season?

Every single goal Demba Ba has scored.

This! Don't give him it, it might be too much pressure. Just let him keep scoring - what's in a number?

He's certainly better than our last number 19...

126 is a silly number for a goal keeper. As are 216 and 261.

If he's happy with the #19 and he's banging the goals in, why change a winning formula?
