Wow looks like West Ham are short of defenders, none on their bench and a youngster (possibly Steve Potts' son) in the starting XI.
Brighton only got 3 bookings today (probably a record low this season) Guly proved his critics wrong by scoring winning goals! Dany N'Guessan (on loan Saint last season) scores winner against Pompey. I'll take that
Not worried by any one except Saints. Who ever we play is allowed a modicum of interest. Pleased for Guly but question whether he should play away.
Almost as helpful as that goal, is that Nolan, Faubert and McCartney will all be suspended for West Ham's next match (vs Derby).
Nolan is way too good for the championship. Honestly I reckon west ham have the stronget side ever in the championship.
Good result that. So barring a shocking turn around in GD on Friday & Saturday, we'll be going into 2012 on top.
Not taking anything for granted, but another good set of results next weekend should see us consolidate the gap between us and 3rd, or even us and 2nd if Derby do the biz.
Nolan is a disgrace, should have been sent off if the ref hadn't of bottled it. West Ham looked very ordinary.
