Credit to City, sounds like we were the better team against very tough opposition, denied a clear penalty but beaten by a wonder goal. If they play like that for the rest of the season they'll pick up a lot more points than they drop.
Sounds like we worked hard, but just couldn't find the killer instinct today, disappointing but we're still in the playoff's only in 5th due to goal difference. Hopefully Saturday we can put it right and get 3 points.
We've won most of our games this season through a wonder goal, it was only a matter of time before we were sunk by one ourselves. Sounded like we played really well though, so I think if we can grab a point against Burnley, we can push on in January. The fixture list looks pretty kind......
As you say we have won a few games with a late Koren strike, this one just went against us. Anyhow sounds as if they played well, which means we are as good as any tean in this division and still no team this season has played us off the park.
Match report off City's web site. http://www.hullcityafc.net/page/NewsDetail/0,,10338~2557998,00.html
Not able to follow game as usual but stats alone suggest we played well enough to draw if not win - disappointed but we still look ok
robbed, should have had it sewn up at half time, fryatt missed an early sitter, then a stonewall penalty seemed to be denied where they would have gone to ten.. would like to see the goal on tv and see where gulasci was, as it didnt seem to go in the corner, ....hobbs played brilliant. good football from city, but at times maybe guilty of overplaying and trying to walk it in...definately didnt deserve to lose tho.
I agree with all of that, we where just not clinical, and for the first time in a while i didn't think we actually created enough but i suppose if Fryatt had taken his chance and had the penalty i no doubt we would of comfortably one. I think the game overall was positive performance wise but no way should we be losing to them who i didn't think where anything special.
I had a feeling we would lose this one but it sounded like we outplayed them on their own ground at times, can only be a good sign of things to come
